Hi, I have configured Windows 2003 AD on a local domain called 'company.office' and have added users to that domain. I have however emails delivered to 'company.nl' and have added this in the recipients policy in exchange. Exchange has no problems retrieving the emails via the pop3 connector, however it fails to deliver the emails to the users email boxes, and signals '.....cannot deliver the email because the email domain name of the receiver is not a local email domain name' (sorry translated from dutch) So, I guess the question is.......How can i get users to send and receive emails that have an adres other then the local domain they logged on to?????? • 3. First Exchange server in Organization..how to change the user used by initial setup?
A client has His first exchange 2003 server in the organization installed while using the real DomainAdmin account from Windows 2003 domain. Can I, how, change settings some way that all services etc...will be running under a newly created account with the proper priviliges. For example, the domainadmin can now read mail via OWA from other users, which is an unwanted situation.

Hello folks, we are in the process of retiring our old exchange 5.5 server,
so we built a new exchange 5.5 server on better box in the same site and
moved all the mailbox and public folders, no how do I move the distribution
lists to the new box from the old? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chow.

Move them? Are they specifically set to expand on the original 5.5 machine?
If not, then they're site specific and you don't need to do anything to
them.

I just upgraded to Exchange 2000 from 5.5. I moved all my user accounts. I

2.Move distribution lists to new AD Domain?

Company A and Company B are merging.
Company B has a Win2k domain and a bunch of "email-enabled security
groups" that show up as distribuition lists in Outlook.
They are moving to Company A's Server 2003 domain with Exchange 2003,
but the admins at company B will not have any direct access to control
or modify the new domain at Company A.
Company A will not use email enabled security groups, but will instead
only have direct distribution lists on the Exchange server.

How can the old distribution lists be moved onto the new company's
Exchange server so users will still be able access the same old lists
of email addresses from the new GAL?
Can email enabled security groups be exported from the old Win2k Active
Directory and then imported to the new domain's Exchange 2003 server by
sending CSV files to the new exchange admin? If so how?

3.moving distribution lists...

Can distribution lists on an Exchange 2000 server be ovedto an Exchange
2003 server? If so, how? Users are moving over fine but when I try to move
a distribution list in AD using Exchange task, the only options are delete,
hide , and remove exchange attributes. I thinking the DL are going to
have to be recreated, just need to confirm. If there an easier way, please
let me know.

Hi all,

I have a bunch of distribution lists on a child domain that we want to phase

Thanks,
