1. loadmovie that is just actionscript
Okay, my code: loadMovie("c:\test.swf", this.emptymc); test.swf is a movie that has been exported into the c drive. It is purely actionscript. Why won't my movie load? I placed a trace in the frame, and the frame is being entered, it just isn't loading my movie. And yes, test.swf has been "exported for actionscript", and emptymc has an instance name of emptymc. Help??
2. Bold font not showing
I have a dynamic text on a canvas with html enabled. If I set the font (garamond) at design time to bold, the text is displayed when I run the movie. However if I set the text to bold at runtime using actionscript textBox.htmlText = "<B>bold text</B>"; the text does not show. What seems to be the problem? I have embedded the font into the dynamic text.
3. Third root
This is more mathematical but scripting problem, I guess, but I know that lot of you are expert of mathematics too. I need to calculate a third root of a number (I'm not sure if that's the phrase in English). Function for square root is built-in (Math.sqrt()), but there are no built-in functions for larger exponent roots. How to calculate it?

I mean am i being ignored because no one knows how to accomplish this?  I came 
across one topic like this but there wasn't a solution given.  The person just 
replied "why you want to do that"  Which really irritated me.  If no one knows 
how to accomplish this, it would be nice for someone to reply and let me know 
that I'm SOL

 Place this code on each button, obviously changing the name to the larger 
version picture you have of each thumbnail.

 on(release){
 getURL("largerPic.jpg", "_blank");
 }

this code works perfectly. however i was curious to know is there anyway to control the parameters?  I want the size to be a specific pixel.  How would I go about doing that?

Ie done this with swish.

Now the tricky part. What I want is that when I click over one of the

2.An enlarged picture of a notepad with a big red tick

:confused;

 I am trying to view some content on nba.com which requires the flash plugin to 
run correctly. However, even though my flash plugin has been installed 
successfully all i am seeing is what seems to be an enlarged picture of a 
notepad with a red tick on it. I am not sure what the picture is trying to tell 
me but my flash works fine otherwise on other websites. Does anyone know how to 
overcome this issue (what does the picture mean??) Thanks for any help.

while in projector it can't.

5.Creating a flash/HTML popup window?

Hi there,

 I'm trying to create a link off my flash movie that opens up a new html window 
that is of fixed size (i.e. 200*200) with no scrollbar, no tool bar, and unable 
to resize...

 The popup window will have a flash clip in it...

 OR 

 The other alternative; does anyone know how i can make a completely flash 
popup that can be dragged and closed? If you could point me towards any flash 
tutorials on this, it would be greatly appreciated...
