New Installation of XP with fp3. Started with Flash Player 9 but then I got an update. It's 10.12.36. And now recent downloads from the Internet do not play. RealPlayer and other s/w want me to load Flash Player 9. Looking at Windows "Add or Remove Programs" I have the following three Adobe products: Adobe Air Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin Adobe Reader No matter how hard I try I keep getting only the "Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin" when I click on the "Download the Flash Player". What do I do so that I can see these older .flv files with Flash Player 10 and keep these other Software programs happy at the same time?

My problem involves a chatroom page which has a banner at the top. When you enter the chatroom some text is supposed to move across from left to right then stay put, and a sound plays once. Problem is, the text moves continually from left to right and the sound plays ad infinitum. This does not happen to any other user and I've tried it on my laptop, where it also doesn't do that. It's a Flash Player banner, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player but to no avail. The thing just seems to be stuck in an eternal loop, and only on my pc. Flash Player works perfectly well in all other instances apart from the one outlined, so it's not a general problem and is particular to this one page. Any ideas anyone please?

Stand-alone Flashplayer

Postby CarlFl » Fri, 24 Aug 2007 01:04:40 GMT

Is there a current stand-alone version of FlashPlayer (not a browser plug-in) available for Mac and Windows? I really love the one I have (v6), but it's old and I want one for Windows.

I had v 8.0 stand alone, I've also been trying to find it for 9.
I really don't like having to run to the browser to open these files.
Now I know what happened, it was just a plug in (I see it there now).
Can you buy the stand alone?

1.Standalone flashplayer/fullscreen mode/Linux

Hello all!

I'm trying to implement kiosk-like demo movie in flash, using Linux, Xorg and
standalone flashplayer (latest version).
When launched in fluxbox window manager, all works fine. But when bare xorg
started with only client application being flashplayer, fullscreen maximization
does not work. Instead, flashplayer window remains in place and in upper left
part of screen displayed square-sized fragment of flash movie (about 1/5 size
of the screen).

I launch everything this way (from textmode runlevel): xinit /root/lauhch.sh
Where launch.sh contains this:
#!/bin/bash
flashplayer /root/demo_movie.swf

Again, everything works if launch.sh modified like this:
#!/bin/bash
flashplayer /root/demo_movie.swf &
exec fluxbox

BUT, does not work if fluxbox is replaced with twm or evilwm.

2.Need Standalone Flashplayer

Hi group

3.Is the stand-alone player TRULY stand ALONE?

A recent project of mine is to package a series of SWF files onto CD for use in
remote areas that have no Internet access, and different versions of Windows.
I need something that is COMPLETELY stand alone and independent to play the SWF
files that would be on the CD.

By "stand alone," I mean literally that it must be able to stand on its
own. That means it is a program that would run directly and immediately, and
not just be an installer, AND that it would be able to play the SWF files on
its own WITHOUT having to have any kind of Flash or SWF "plugin" installed
beforehand.

So far, the "Windows Flash Player 9 Projector content debugger" that I
downloaded from here SEEMS to fit the bill, but I'm not currently in one of
those remote areas, and my system does, already, have the Flash and SWF plugins
installed.

Before I make permanent CDs and get them out to these villages, I would like
to know: will the "Windows Flash Player 9 Projector content debugger" work on
those systems if they do NOT already have some kind of Flash/SWF installed?
Also, will the "projector" .EXE files that it creates run on their own, or do
they require the presence of the "Windows Flash Player 9 Projector content
debugger" and/or the plugins?

Thank you.

4.Clarifications Regarding FlexRay Stand Alone Cotroller Interfacing With PIC Microcontroller

Dear All,

This is Jegadeesh from Trioz Technologies India Pvt Ltd.
We are currently working on a project under FlexRay to develop a
demonstration module to our customer.

At present we are in a design stage of the software based on the
hardware that we finished designing already.

we have planned to demonstrate the Flexray communication using PIC
controller interfacing with the Fujitsu's Flexray Stand Alone
Controller (MB88121B) by SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface). Further,
Stand Alone Controller is interfaced with the Austria Micro system's
Flexray Driver (AS8221).

We need to know some clarifications regarding Hardware Design of
AS8221 with MB88121B and channel Transmission / Reception.

The Flexray Standalone Controller has 2 channels A and B respectively.
Is it possible to Transmit Flexray Frames in a channel (Ex: CH A) and
Receive it via another channel (Ex: CH B) by using a two Transceivers
and one Flexray Controller?

Please reply back to me with solutions and suggesstions for our
clarifications at the earliest.

Thanks and Regards,
