Some hosts do not allow the creation of subwebs. And some require that they create it on the server before you publish. You need to contact your host about their policy. -- ----- Tom Pepper Willett Microsoft MVP - FrontPage ----- "Suga" < XXXX@XXXXX.COM > wrote in message news: XXXX@XXXXX.COM ... | HELP! | | I am trying to upload a small subwebsite to my current site and when I do it | says that the web does not exist there... so it asks me to create a new | subsite there | | I do | | but it comes back | | THERE IS NO "/" site there... • 2. Server Error: Web <Root Web> is Busy.
Hi, I have asked a similar question before about the Error message that follows, in regards to what and where the problem is. But, what I am asking now is, would this be an indication that the hosting site has more business than what they can handle or too small of a server for the amount of hosting sites they have? This is the error message (exact): "Server error: Web <Root Web> is busy. Please try again" What is happening is that my hosting company can't seem to correct this problem and states that my site is too busy to handle the hits and the changes at the same time. So he suggested that I make my changes either later in the evening or very early in the morning. (My site is not very busy, maybe 60 to 70 hits a day.) Currently he has suggested, and is now working on, to start another hosting account on a windows 2000 server for me. Would this solve the problem or make any difference? I am running FrontPage 2002 with Win XP Pro on a Pentium 4 - 1.6GHz processor and I believe he is currently running a Unix(?) system (I am not sure about this, but I do remember seeing this someplace). I am just really having a heck of a time with this, and sometimes it seems to run really good making me forget the problems. I would like to know if it would be worth making a change to another "HOSTING COMPANY?" Thanks for listening, and for your help. Regards, Bud

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site

My form feedback to email (save results) does not work some visitors.
Instead, it prompts the visitor to enter a user name and password? The weird
thing is that it works for some computers. I have Frontpage 2003 and the
server is Go Daddy. Go Daddy has not been very helpful.
