I have FP 2002 which I've been using since it came out. All of a sudden I am unable to upload one of my websites. When I click on publish the computer freezes up and I have to use Ctrl Alt Del to get access again. This is with one site my other two sites work prefectly when I publish on the same computer. What would cause this problem?

Change the Page Compatibility setting to IE only. You can get to it under Tools | Page Options | Compatibility. Navigator doesn't support this feature so it must be set to IE only. Hope this helps, Mark Fitzpatrick Microsoft MVP - FrontPage "Andre T." < XXXX@XXXXX.COM > wrote in message news:%236FFba% XXXX@XXXXX.COM ... > My Frontpage menu Format has the option Page Transition but is grayed out > all the time. Using FrontPage 2002. I create an asp.net file in notepad or word pad, save it as .aspx, then import that file into the FrontPage Web. Then I publish the file to my host server as normal. (My host supports asp.net 1.1) It works fine. I would like to create the asp.net file in Visual Studio 2003. How do I get this file to work at my host server?

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site

My form feedback to email (save results) does not work some visitors.
Instead, it prompts the visitor to enter a user name and password? The weird
thing is that it works for some computers. I have Frontpage 2003 and the
server is Go Daddy. Go Daddy has not been very helpful.
