I have created a form and I want the result transferred to an e-mail. When I test the page in IE it shows the following error message. Form Validation Error Please correct the information you provided by following these steps, then submit the information again: A FrontPage File Upload component is incorrectly configured. Please set the MIME encoding type for the form to be multipart/form-data. How can I do that? Can somebody help please. Thanks -- RudiH
  • 3. password protected subsite and Access database
I am trying to create a password-protected Web page AND then a subsite with usernames and passwords being collected in Access database. I have followed the "How to create a password-protected Web page by Using FP 2003, Active Server Pages, and an Access database". The 'test' goes well, but when I try to personalize it for for my pages, I get to the logon page and it will not open my page after I put in my ID and password. After I conquer this, I need to create a subsite (maintain my template) and have guests be able to sign in using a username and pasword which will be collected in Access database. If anyone can help me, I would really appeciate it. This is my first time with FP and it has been going quite well until this. I have Server Extension 2002 pkg on server. Thx

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site

My form feedback to email (save results) does not work some visitors.
Instead, it prompts the visitor to enter a user name and password? The weird
thing is that it works for some computers. I have Frontpage 2003 and the
server is Go Daddy. Go Daddy has not been very helpful.
