Today I found that you can download Microsoft Front Page "add-ins". I downloaded an add-in web site template for accountants. The read-me instructions said that I should unzip the file, install it,...then follow these instructions... 1. Open Front Page 2002 2. Go to File > New > Page or Web. Click Web Site Templates in the New Page or Web pane in the right column. 3. Choose the Front Page Accountant Web Template. 4. Specify the locatin in the dropdown box. For example, you may want to point the location to a subfolder in you My Webs folder. 5. Click OK. Front Page will build the web site for you. When it is done working, you may view and edit pages. Well I did steps 1-4 successfully, but when I go into Front Page and choose File > Open (and then choose for example the index page of this group of templates), it pauses for a second and then a warning box comes up that says "System Exception: Access Violation." Could someone please explain to me what this means? and how I can get things to work. I would like to open up all of these pages that this add-in installed in My Webs folder, the weird part is that I can view them in Microsoft Explorer, but I cannot open them in Microsoft Frontpage so that I can personalize them, is this possible, I am using FrontPage 2002 on a Novell Server. Would someone please help me!!!!

Evaluating FP2003 and Server 2003. I see the Banner Ad Manager has been removed. I tried to re-add it to a toolbar but it just goes to gray when you exit the toolbar editor. Has this component been removed because of .Net or what? Any insights would be appreciated. --Joe

When I open my recently published site I see verticle lines on all the pages. This doesn't show when previewing before publishing.

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site

My form feedback to email (save results) does not work some visitors.
Instead, it prompts the visitor to enter a user name and password? The weird
thing is that it works for some computers. I have Frontpage 2003 and the
server is Go Daddy. Go Daddy has not been very helpful.
