Ok here is what I found in the FP 2000 help; so it really confuses me from what I'm being told here on this forum? Any comments? Thanks for your time! Create a hidden folder If you create a folder and precede its name with an underscore (for example, _database), the folder is only hidden from Microsoft FrontPage views. Such folders are useful for files that do not need to be seen in FrontPage views; however, the folder's contents can be viewed by site visitors browsing the web. If you want a folder to display in FrontPage views, select the Show documents in hidden directories check box on the Advanced tab in the Web Settings dialog box. When you create a new web, FrontPage automatically creates a hidden folder named _private to store form results. This hidden folder created by FrontPage cannot be viewed by site visitors browsing your web. If you want additional folders that cannot be viewed by site visitors, you can create subfolders below the _private folder, or you can contact your web administrator for instructions on how to make a hidden folder.

  • 4. Problems with white cell corner
The first thing I tried with FrontPage 2003 and there appears to be a problem: Create a new page. Add the 'Full Page' layout table (for example). Add a background picture to the page. Set the background colour of the single cell to white. Set a corner to white with a white border colour. The corner itself is always transparent instead of white. The layout table used, background picture, and border colour don't appear to be factors. There doesn't seem to be a problem setting the corner colour to anything other than White (FFFFFE isn't a problem for example).

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site

My form feedback to email (save results) does not work some visitors.
Instead, it prompts the visitor to enter a user name and password? The weird
thing is that it works for some computers. I have Frontpage 2003 and the
