  • 1. My remote site login password stopped auto-completing
When I first set up FP2003 to access my remote Unix server via FTP, my login ID and password were memorised, and FP never asked me for them when publishing from local to remote. Then for an unrelated reason I had to delete all my memorised passwords in IE6, and now FP2003 is back to asking me for a login and password every time I publish. Although I've successfully re-set IE6 to memorise and autofill passwords once again, I can't find a way to persuade FrontPage to use this feature. Any help gratefully received.
  • 2. how to upgrade a website to Frontpage 2003 from Frontpage 2000?
I developed a website using FP 2000 on my desktop, now have purchased a laptop and FP 2003 (windows xp). Can I get the website info from the desktop transferred to the laptop so that I can update from there? If yes, how?
  • 3. Calculations on Confirmation Page
I have a very simple Front Page form, that mails the results to my e-mail. The confirmation page display the user's inputs correctly. Below is the script for the confirmation field (again, this part works): Question 1: <!--webbot bot="ConfirmationField" S-Field="Q1" --></p> <p>Question 2: <!--webbot bot="ConfirmationField" S-Field="Q2" --></p> <p>Question 3: <!--webbot bot="ConfirmationField" S-Field="Q3" --></p> In addition to displaying the user's inputs, I would like to display the sum of three of the inputs on the confirmation page. I'm not certain that variables are picking up the value from the confirmation field. This is the script that I'm currently using: var Q1Data = ParseInt(window.document.Q1.value); var Q2Data = parseInt(window.document.Q2.value); var Q3Data = parseInt(window.document.Q3.value); Var Sec1Total = Q1Data + Q2Data + Q3Data; Would you be so kind as to: 1) confirm that what I'm trying to do is possible 2) confirm that my "var" statements will or will not work (and how to correct them) Thanks

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site

My form feedback to email (save results) does not work some visitors.
Instead, it prompts the visitor to enter a user name and password? The weird
thing is that it works for some computers. I have Frontpage 2003 and the
server is Go Daddy. Go Daddy has not been very helpful.
