1.How to get the trendline values in excel 03 direct into cells

Thanks for the answer, however my challenge is to have a 'dynamic'
regression, meaning that if I would like to omit some data points (which I do
by the 'hide' function) I get a new slope on the plot from the trendline
function. How can I get hold of this new slope to be used in further
calculations ? (Or is it possible to have the slope function dynamic, meaning
that the hided values are omitted from the 'x and y's ?
Thanks in advance

2.How to get the trendline values in excel 03 direct into cells ?

In regression analysis the gradient is used for further analysis. By hiding
values (coloumns) the number of points in the trend analysis varies and the
gradient changes. How can the gradient values be transferred to a cell and as
such be used in further analysis / equations ?

3.logarithmic trendlines using zero values

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Hi,
I would like to add a logarithmic trendline to my scatter plot. However, when I attempt to do so, i get an error message indicating that some trendline options do not allow zero or negative values. (There is one zero value as the first data point on the x-axis). I have never had this problem with other versions of excel, where zero values were appropriately graphed. The data is clearly best represented using a log scale. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi, <br>
I have a big problem with a chart I have created a simple chart with this values: <br><br>X Y <br>

1.63300 0.13124 <br>
1.87500 0.04913 <br><br>and I add a trendline , when I extract the formula the scope value and the interceptor value are wrong, If I try to calculate the same value with excel formule (SCOPE - INTERCEPTOR) I obtain a correct value. <br><br>Do you have an Idea why I have different value, what can I solve the problem? <br><br>Thanks for any suggestion. <br><br>Luca
