I'm trying to chart multiple data on a daily basis. I have the date, sewer flow rate, rainfall and total population. My primary X-axis is the date, my primary Y-axis is flow rate, and my secondary Y-axis is the rain fall. I would like to add another secondary axis scale to show the total population. Does any one know how to do this in Excel 2003? Thanks, Russ

Double 100% Stacked column charts

Postby buggy » Sat, 09 Jul 2005 03:57:52 GMT

I am trying to create a monthly report that would capture the last 3
months worth of data.

The issue I am having is that I need to compare two sets of data pe
month so a clustered column chart would be ideal. Hower I need th
clustered columns to be 100% stacked columns in order to present th
appropriate data which are ratios.

For example in June we Forecasted 10% blue shoes, 50% red shoes, an
40% Green shoes (column 1 in June) however we actually got 20% blue
30% red and 50% green (column 2 in June). These two columns should b
touching whereas there should be a seperation from the other month
with similar data.

Thoughts???? HEEEELLLLLPPPPPP!!!

make your stacked chart with each months data taking two rows or columns
with an empty row or cloumn between months. select one of the data series and
select options and enter "0" for the gap.

1.Different widths for each column in a 100% stacked column chart

I would like to present a chart that has 3 columns of data with each column
being the same height and each column being split into different components
(i.e. a 'typical' 100% stacked column chart). Each column represents a
different market (split between the players in that particular market) and
the markets are of diferent size. What I would like to do is make the width
of each column vary depending on the size of the market. Effectively the
height of the columns is the same and the vertical splits reflect the
relative size of the components within each column but in addition I would
like the width of the columns to reflect the relative size of each market. I
have seen this in a Powerpoint presentation before but assume it was lifted
from Excel. I have Office 2007.

2.100% Stacked Column Chart Labels

I've created a chart with several 100% stacked columns, each having multiple
data points in common. I'd like to show what percentage each of the data
points is in relation to its column but the percentage data label is greyed
out. Is there another way to do what I'm trying?

Thanks!

3.100% stacked column chart with negative numbers

How do you create a 100% stacked column chart with negative numbers? After I
create the chart it only goes up to 80%

4.100% stacked column chart shows wrong information

I wonder if someone can help me. I have created a table that tracks the
profitability of a particular project and I鈥檓 using the table as a source for
a 100% Stacked Column graph.

The source data for the graph is in three rows:

鈥?B21:M21 - contain the names of the months from Nov 鈥?Oct
鈥?B22:M22 - money taken in
鈥?B24:M24 - profit

B23:M23 contains the money paid to supplier each month. I need this in the
table but I don鈥檛 need to show it in the graph. I just want to show profit as
a proportion of what we bill to customers on that project.

My problem is that the graph seems to show incorrect information. Of the
total billed in November, 33% was left over as profit: the table clearly
shows around 25% profit.

Can anyone tell me what I鈥檓 doing wrong?

Cheers

Karl

5.Excel 2007 - percentage and values on 100% line/column stacked charts

Guys,

Here is my problem. As an output of my analysis I have a pivot table
containing 4 columns:
col1 - date; col2 - number_of_successfull_connections; col3 -
number_of_failed_connections; col4 (auto) - total.

Example:
09/01/2007 12 2 14
09/02/2007 32 1 33
09/03/2007 12 9 21
[...]

I would like to create a 100% stacked line or column chart for date
and number_of_failed_connections (to track % of bad connections per
day). In addition, each makrer's label should contain % failure, and
number of connections (example for 09/01/2007 "14%/2")

What really drives me crazy is a fact that neither there is a
"percentage" option in data label menu I can select, nor I can
generate the chart omitting col2.

Is there any way to do this except manual work?

Thanks,
MB
