I am making a line graph with 2 sets of numbers that are very far apart - one set of numbers is around 7000 to 8000, and the other set is closer to 80,000. Of course, I get one line at the top of the chart that is pretty easy to read, but the line on the bottom that represents the smaller numbers is just TINY and looks pretty much straight. My question is this: is there a way to put a "break" into the graph between the smaller numbered data and the larger ones so they are all easier to read? Like a jagged line showing where the jump occurs or something?

I have run this code (stripped down code shown below) for over 4 years now in both Excel 97 and 2003. I am now trying out 2007 but the VBA code to create my charts is failing. I have data to be represented by a pie chart and need to include a text box with the grand total of the data somewhere on the chart. I've been able to create an embedded pie chart but can't get the text box with the grand total to stay on the chart when I click off the chart area. Then I tried to create the chart on a chart tab instead of making an embedded chart--I can get the text box to stay on the chart but then I can't get the data to update when it changes (the series values remain the same--it's reading a total row). I need the pie chart to be updated as new data is added AND I need the grand total to be displayed (I assume via a text box). 5.Calculating largest gap in a series of consecutive numbers
Hiya, I am currently trying to calculate the largest gap in a series of numbers where a particular number has not appeared and display this number in a cell. For example, There are 2 numbers involved, 0 and 1. My spreadsheet looks like: A1 A2 1 A3 0 A4 0 A5 0 A6 0 A7 1 A8 0 A9 0 and so on..... Now, in cell C1 I want excel to automatically calculate the number of times 0 has come up consecutively up to the last time the number 1 appeared. So when inputting data downwards in A10, A11, A12 it will be able to tell me how many consecutive 0's there have been until the last number 1 appeared. In the above example, if I had input the data upto A5, C1 would display the number 3 (there have been three 0's since the last 1 came up). When A6 is filled in with a 0, C1 would display 4, yet once A7 had been filled in the counter would reset back to 0 in C1. I have tried to explain this as best as I can, if you need any clarification please ask, and thank you kindly in advance,
