Hello there, I'm on Win98, using OE6, and all was fine until recently (15 days), when clicking click send to send out a composed email, everything just hangs on the PC. If Winamp is on, the music stops, after sounding like a breaking record that is.... In short, everything gets JERKY. Then once the message is completely sent, it's back to normal. All else is OE is working perfectly well ! I use AVG AntiVirus, but Email protecttion is completely disabled.... Hope to get something that will resolve this. Thank you !

- 1. unable access folders in outlook express
I open outlook express and then click on inbox, I get the tree to open but when I move the cursor down to the tree to access a folder the tree closes not allowing me to access and read some old email in the folder(s). If ANYONE can help, I would be Extremely appreciative. I am not sure if this makes a diff, but the program (opening OE, Clicking on tree and accessing the folders) worked just fine UNTIL I installed a program called " Mailwasher". I wonder how this works. There are times when it takes forever for OE6 to sync for headers on all my NG's. Would it be better to have Outlook Express check for message headers as I click on the NG that I like to look at? I have NG's that I hardly ever look at, but eventually like to check, so when I do that what would be the setting for that situation? - 3. slowloading
Hello there everytime i try and use OE it takes at least 30 seconds to load up what could be the problem? i did uninstall Microsoft Messenger, then reinstalled it thinking this may help but no joy. please help richard - 4. Can I download all new messages in my subscribed newsgroups?

msimn.exe has generated arrors and will be closed by windows. I try to solve the problem by following the article # 258034 in Microsfot knowledge base. it did not solve the problem and I am getting the error every time I try to open outlookexpress thank you

4.OUTLOOK EXPRESS freezes computer when offline sending messages to OUTBOX
When composing e-mail messages offline with OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6 in WINDOWS 98 and INTERNET EXPLORER 6, I send the first message to the OUTBOX, then compose a second outgoing e-mail message. When I send the second message to the OUTBOX, while still offline and not yet having logged on with my dialup modem, the computer blocks - cursor freezes, and I must reboot the computer. Why does this happen? Is OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6 compatible with the updated INTERNET EXPLORER 6? Should I downgrade to I.E. 5.5.?
5.When I send one email Outlook indicates that I am sending 3 emails
I can't figure out why Outlook 2007 indicates that I am sending 3 emails when I am only sending 1. Where are the other two going? What are the other 2 emails? How can I fix this? Thanks, Alexis
