  • 1. Editing Mailing List
    One of my clients uses the campaign manager for direct mailing. It appears that on a few reciepents that the Business City appears where the Business Street should be. On the server hosting the database it is possible to edit the mailing list in word but on a client PC that shares the database the mailing list option does not show any recipenents so the errors cannot be corrected. Should a client be able to edit this list. I have been assured that the entries where entered correctly what would you suggest to resolve this.

    Are you able to send multiple emails at once with BCM? If so, how many can you send without triggering SPAM considerations? I have a small business and want to send 250 or so emails per week to current clients, but don't know the guidelines. -- Anjela
  • 3. importing email history to a Business Contact Manager record
    If I add a contact to my Business Contact Manager is there a way to have BCM go through my Outlook mail box and link all my correspondence previous to adding the BCM record to the contact so when I look at the history file all these emails will show up?

    I have created a Business Project, which contains 36 or so individual Project Tasks, each with its own completion level, ranging from 4% to 100% (complete). However, the completion level for the Business Project still displays 0% completion. Is there a way to get it to calculate an overall completion level, based upon the completion levels of the associated tasks?

Trying to customize "Accounts and Business Contact".  Like to add "Group name 
- Other contacts" and format the "Field" and "Data type" section so I can 
enter Phone Numbers/ext. in the correct format.

I have tried but each time I choose "Data Type" as 'number' and not sure 
what FORMAT to use under "Data Type".  Or if i am going about this the 
correct way.

Any advise would be helpful.

3.Customize Standard Forms in BCM 

Hi
This is (possibly) a very easy question to answer but I can't seem to find a 
solution.

I have customized the BCM Business Contact form and added new fields but I 
want to remove the standard 'Business Card' shown on the form to give me more 
space but I can't find out how to do this.

I also want to reduce the number of lines in the Products and Services 
region of the standard Opportunities form. It shows about 15 lines as 
standard but I only need 2 or 3. So a way to do this would also be 
appreciated.

Any advice or guidance would be greatfully received.

4.BCM will not add a field to customize my form 

In OL BCM windows 7 I want to modify my Account form or even Business contact 
form.  Selecting customize form and adding a group is fine.  But when I try 
to add a field the error pops up with "BCM could not complete your last 
action.  Please try again."  Any ideas on how to avoid this and get to adding 
a numeric field to an existing Account template???

5.customizing forms in bcm 

i would like to customize the opportunity form (adding some fields) and was 
wondering how to go about doing that.  i might be missing a step.  there is 
no "customize form" on this option.  i've looked in the "forms" option in 
outlook but there seems to be a problem here.  there's no opportunity 
template to even download.  any ideas?

also, still looking for a way to set up a report that displays the company 
name.
