I'm using Outlook2003w/BCM. For Business Contacts, under the the "Details" tab... is there any way to "erase" text entered into: -Source of Lead -Profession -Method of Contact I accidentally hit a letter like A... and it auto-filled "Advertisement" from a drop-down list, for "Source of Lead." Problem is... it seems like you can't erase it at all. If it's not deletable, is there anyone who is involved in the beta for the next version who can say whether this small inconvenience will be corrected next time around? Thanks, George

BCM does not affect Outlook email services, nor Windows email settings.

You could try your question in microsoft.public.outlook.

2.Making Outlook My Default Mail Client

1) Make sure Outlook is the default mail client in Control Panel |
Internet Options | Programs tab (I know you said you already set Outlook
as the default, but that's where you need to do it).

2) Make sure your accounts are set up properly in Outlook.

3) Remove the mail accounts from OE and/or tell OE not to automatically
check for new messages.

3.Making Outlook the Default Mail Client

I have not idea why this is so difficult. It is not an option when you open
Set Program Defaults In XP. I have been reading and am told :
"OUTLOOKASDEFAULTAPP property in the Custom Installation Wizard (CIW).

Use the Custom Maintenance Wizard or a standalone .prf file. Details in the
OFfice Resource Kit online." I have no idea still how to find the CIW let
alone activate it. Can someone help?

Thanks

4.Making Outlook default E-Mail Client

I am not sure if this is an Outlook/Windows or Netscape question so
thought I'd start here.

I use Outlook 2000 for my e-Mail but if I click on a e-mail link on a
web page or from within an e-mail the Netscape e-mail client pops up.

How do I disable that

Thanks
