    Just installed outlook 03 SP3 on my network and now users report messages in outlook alert but do not display in inbox. If they touch a different folder in outlook and return to inbox messages display. Refresh and send and receive do not help. Win 2k sp4 OS.

    I understand that its not possible to to restrict access per user or group with out a Visual studio add-in but is there anyway i can prevent a user from deleteing all records offline then syncchronizing an wipeing the shared database?

    When using BCM in Office 2007 I find it annoying that each time I click out of Contacts and then back in again the default fields/columns reappear. I have tried amending them using the field chooser and the customize current view but to no avail. Does anyone know how I can make my selection of fields stick?

I have Office Ultimate '07 without the box and I would like to know how to 
determine if it has BCM or not. I installed the whole suite but don't see it 
and I thought this version had it. 

If it isn't included, is there a way to add it?

3.Outlook 07 B2TR & Outlook 07 BCM B2TR 

Hi all,

I installed Office 2007, and then installed B2TR. All the core software is 
working fine now. 

But, I also bought (for a whole $1.50!) Outlook '07 BCM. I downloaded and 
went through the whole install process, including the reg key and EULA 
window, but before it installed completely I got this: 

Wizard .exe
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to 
terminate the application. 

I've since read elsewhere that I can't install a pre-B2TR program, like 
Outlook '07 B2, after I've installed Office B2TR. (Which sucks, because I 
also bought Project and Visio, and hadn't installed them yet. I've only tried 
Project so far, but it won't install either.) 

Anyway, at this moment I'm downloading Outlook '07 BCM B2TR (BCMBeta2TR.exe) 
Before I click 'run,' will it install when I already have Outlook B2TR 
installed?

4.Clean Install Vista Ult and Off 2007 - Outlooks Stops Responding 

I've just performed a clean install of Vista Ultimate on my Dell Precision 
M90 notebook and Office 2007 Enterprise on top of that. I've not had 
difficulty with this on other machines. Getting a profile setup was very 
difficult but was finally accomplished. When Outlook 2007 starts I see the 
prompt for the profile but once selected the program hangs. Regardless of how 
long it sets, all that is displayed is the Outlook 2007 splash screen and the 
frame of where the inbox and mail should be. At the top of the window is the 
message "Microsoft Outlook (Not Responding).

Has anyone else seen this. I performed the same install on a desktop a few 
weeks ago and it went off without a hitch. I've installed all updates for 
both Vista and Office. I've run the repair, twice. I've uninstalled Office 
and reinstalled and performed the updates again to no avail.

Any help or insight is appreciated.
