Hi Tammy This cannot be done ,any user added will have un-restricted access to the database. Regards Rahul Thomas
Thanks Raul. Do you know if this feature is coming in the near future? It may be a big problem for us. Regards, - Tammy
1.Permission Level setting for BCM
We have installed the BCM with the backend being SQL but it doesn't seem to allow for permission levels to be set in the BCM to keep people from deleting the BCM. Is there some way to set permissions, security and roles so that information can be shared but not deleted by anyone except the owner of the database.
2.BCM - set Outlook "Contacts" Navigation pane button to BCM
How can I set the Outlook "Contacts" button on the Navigation Pane to direct me to my Business Contact Manager contacts, instead of the standard Outlook contacts
I am trying to make a file with standard responses for common email questions so my employees can just copy and paste the answers. the problem is with word, there are too many of them and you will have to scroll down through too many emails. with excel when you paste the answer, it screws up the layout sometimes and is hard to add a few words to customize the email. any suggestions?
4.Add-in to create basic canned answers ?
Hi, I sell a lot on ebay, and I get many exact questions from buyers. I use Outlook 2003 and I have a little FAQ based on Outlooks signatures... this solution is not that good as I wanted it to be, since I need a faster access to it and a little more flexibilty. Does anybody know of a basic add-in I can buy that could help me out ?? I don't need fancy things, just flexible canned answering. Thanks Alex
5.Using Macros to Generate "canned" email responses
I have only used macros in Word where clicks and strokes are recorded in the macro. Outlook apparantly relies on Visual Basic for its macros and I have nevcer used VB. I want to create a macro that will generate a reply email with a pre-written message body. Any place I can go that might show me how to do this? Thank you!
