I can't get Business Contact Manager to install: 'Setup didn't complete'. Every time I try, I also get 'Known compatibility issues with SQL Server 2005. Apply SP3 before you run it' and when I search for online help, I'm told Microsoft has no solution but will notify me when there is one. Surely this can't be true? Did Microsoft release a new operating system that's incompatible with it's mainstream software? Can anyone help me get through this installation? FYI I have Windows 7 and Office 2007 ... and now wish I had stuck with XP and Office 2003

How do you set up to call out of BCM? We have VOIP phones so the computer is
already set up with the computer. When I'm on a contact person and try to
call that person it gives me an error box.

2.Call List in Business Contact Manager doesn't display phone #

The task list and call list in Business Contact Mgr has columns with Business
phone and mobile phone. When I link to a contact, the phone numbers do not
display in these columns. I find I can type the phone numbers into these
fields, but what is the point in that? Certainly there must be a way to
automatically pull these phone numbers. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions.

3.How to make the Contacts on a Pocket PC Phone default to Business Contacts Manager contacts

I am running MS Outlook 2007 with Business Contacts Manager. I also have
a Pocket PC phone which I sync with Outlook.

Currently, my personal contacts in Outlook are synced to the default
contacts in the phone. If I want to look at the BCM contacts in the
phone, I have to go to Start -> Business Contacts.

I would like to have the contacts from Business Contacts Manager be the
default contacts in the phone, so when I go to dial a contact, the list
of contacts are those from BCM, not my personal contacts.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.

4.Business Contact Manager, How do I make Follow ups aprear in m

Thanks for the fast reply. Realizing now that follow up reminders don't work
with BCN, is there a way to identify the contacts that have a Due by date
along with the Follow up flag?

Thanks in advance.

5.Outlook 2003/Business Contact Manager/Getting Things Done Add-in

I am looking for a solution for two business partners who want to use Outlook
as a CRM. I have the GTD add-in and when I installed the BCM, none of my
add-ins would work and Outlook wanted to disable all of them.

I restored my system to before the installation. Is it possible to have
these add-ins and BM?

Is it possible to use Outlook and achieve the same *report* results as you
would get using ACT! - a top-level report of all of the clients and their
status, activities, notes, etc?
