    Is it possible to syc BCM and outlook folders. Its seems bizare to me that you need to keep 2 folders updated manually ie Copy and paste each time you add or change contact details. The reason I am ultimately asking the question is because blackberrys only syc with an outlook folder.

I don't have any trouble creating new contact folders under the general Outlook Personal Folders, but I can't do the same in BCM.

I have an iPAQ 1955 with recently replaced motherboard. Calendar and Tasks 
synchronize and appear on the iPAQ. Activsync shows contacts have 
synchronized but they do not appear in the iPAQ. Have performed a hard reset 
of iPAQ, plus deleted and re-installed Activsync. No success. HP says if it 
syncs anything it is a software issue not the hardware, so no help there. I 
am using Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager. I would greatly 
appreciate any suggestions.

You are prob syncing to outlook contacts, which is (obviously) completlyt 
differnt from the bcm contacts. 2 different databases, no syncing between 
them . Goog luck

If you are using BCM, maybe your contacts are in the BCM?

ipaq will not sync any BCM contacts, they have to be in the contacts folder 
of Outlook.

Activesync will says "syncing contacts" even if there are 0.

Try putting one contact in OL (or a new one in) and see if it works, then go 
from there ..

3.Synchronizing with IPAQ 

When nonnection is made with my IPAQ and it tries to sync 
the calendar, contacts, ect I get the following 
Status: "Attention required" when I look at the Resolve 
items it says "Items of one or more information types 
cannot be synchronized. Disconnect and reconnect your 
device"  The resolution does not work.

Does anyone have any ideas?

When I try to synchronize my ipaq 6340 with Outlook 2007 and Vista (calendar 
and Contacts), Windows Mobile Device Center says "Outlook has not been 
configured" and I cannot mark the box for calendars and contacts :-(
