Start Over - - Clear Out
by SmVyaWQgQg » Sun, 23 Jul 2006 00:20:02 GMT
I have approxiamently 250 contacts and have been testing and playing with BCM.
I am fairly happy with everything and with all the links and everything I
created for testing I want to start fresh. I want my contatcs there, but to
wipe out all the links to emails to start over so that way all links are
legit.
Is there an easy way to do this without uninstalling and reinstalling?

Export the Contacts and Accounts, create a new database, then import
the Contacts and Accounts.
Menu File|Import and Export|BCM
Then in the wizard export to BCM file, Export Everything,No History and
No Products.
Menu BCM|Database Tools|Create and create your new database.
Menu File|Import and Export|BCM
Then import the file your exported above.

1.How to clear all data in Outlook and start over
I had trouble with my pocket pc and Activesync. I need to erase all the
"stuff" in Outlook and sync my pocket pc again. I can't find a way to clear
all the entries -- other than one entry at a time. Are there folders for
each area, e.g., Contacts, Notes, and Calendar?

2.OL2007 on Vista clears the clipboard when a new email is started
Ok, this is not exactly life and death, but if anyone has time...
I just started using a Vista machine with Outlook 2007. I am in the habit
of composing email text using a favorite keyboard-based text editor on which
I am very fast, and then pasting the text into the email window. So I...
(1) Compose the text in the text editor.
(2) Copy the text.
(3) Open a new email in Outlook.
(4) Paste the text into the email.
However now step (4) doesn't work, because the copied text is no longer in
the clipboard after step (3). I have to reverse steps (3) and (2). I do this
many times a day so it's a bit of an annoyance.
So it would be a convenience if I could convince Outlook not to zap the
clipboard when a new email is started. Any thoughts on how to do this?
Thanks for any help.
