1.BCM Online Error Message: going online has been cancelled, but you
The error message is 'going online has been cancelled, but you can continue
to work in the offline database.' I have SP1 installed. I have run office
diagnostics. The first couple of times I tried to connect, it asked me to
manually resolve conflicts. Now it says it's applying all of the changes,
but cancels at the last minute and gives me the above message.
I turned on loggins as suggested in another thread, and have included my log
below. There may be another issue in this error log: I had some reminders
pop up that I can't get rid of. One of them has to do with a ghost marketing
campaign that I can't see anywhere in BCM.
Thanks in advance for any help:

2.BCM Online Error Message: going online has been cancelled, but
Thanks Luther, but that's not it. The server (actually a PC serving as a
server) is available for all other data. It's just BCM that wasn't
connecting. And BCM connects, but then it cancels at the last minute after
analyzing all changes.
As far as the Marketing campaing is concerned, I don't have any campaigns at
all. I started one to 'play with,' but never saved it.

3.BCM 2007 offline/online synch slow
Recently setup a shared BCM 2007 database (on a 1.5 Ghz Pentium/1.5 RAM).
Have three users connected who also use BCM offline when out of the office.
Problem: After being out of the office (even for an hour or two), when they
come back in and go online the synchronization is incredibly slow (no matter
who is doing the synch). Unfortunately, if one person is doing their synch,
it also slows down everyone else who is online/connected to the shared
database. This slowdown happens with only a few noted changes between the
offline data and the current online data.
I realize the host "server" is not a powerhouse machine...should I just move
it to something faster?
Thank you.
4.Network issue when switching from offline to online on BCM client
I have network performance / synchronization issue. When i return BCM
database from offline mode back to online, after no changes has been made,
its quite quick and just a few data are transfered over network. But when i
change some data, even if its one character in client record, then when a
return back online from offline, its about 350MB transfered over network. My
BCM database on master server is about 1GB large.
I've tried to expriment with email autolinking, but its not the reason i
guess. It takes aprox. same time and transfer same data size in both cases. I
think that this maybe has much more to do with SQL Server 2005 Express than
with Outlook/BCM. I'll appreciate any help or advice.
5.Groove 2007 users going offline and online and workspace issues
Groove 2007 clients (Windows XP Sp2)
Groove 2007 Relay (Windows Server 2003 X64 RC2)
Groove 2007 Manager (Windows Server 2003 X64 RC2)
We have a Groove 2007 Relay and Manager set up. We are having problems
with our Groove 2007 clients going offline in relation to other clients when
they are not actually offline. And also some clients aren't receiving
workspace updates even though other workstations are.
Looking through the Connection Manager, I see that these clients are
connecting to blugro#relay.groove.microsoft.com, R0##.groove.net, and other
public relays. (where # is some number) My theory is that some of these
clients are connecting to the public relays and some are connecting to the
private relay, which is causing problems of systems not seeing each other.
I had been trying to fool the groove server by modifying the
C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file and pointing the
groove.microsoft.com servers at our company Groove Relay. I haven't done
this for the R#.groove.net since there are too many of them!!
Could you please point us to some information somewhere about how to lock
down a groove client so that it only communicates with its local peers and
our internal Groove Relay?
Any help would be very much appreciated. We have invested a ton of money
into this setup and there is so very little public troubleshooting
information, so anything you can provide us would be invaluable!
Thank you
David
