  • 1. Account view display narrowed, contact names hidden
I am having a semi consistent problem with the Account view window. Occasionally, it will all of a sudden narrow all of the fields to half their normal widths and the list box with the contacts will narrow and no longer show contact name column, only title, phone, email. This usually happens when I have 2 or more windowed views open such as inbox, tasks, account list and the only way to correct the problem is to close out of outlook and restart it. The window can be maximized or resized, but it makes no difference. Has anyone else seen this problem or have a solution to fix it? Thanks -Karl

  • 3. BCM Installation problem
I am running windows XP and Office 2007 but after repeated attempts at uninstalling and reinstalling BCM it does not show up on outlook and I do not get the startup wizzard. I have installed service packs but that does not appear to help. I do not get any error messages, it just does not work. I have also installed this on my home computer set up the same way and it worked fine. Can anyone help?
  • 4. Sorting on date
Hello, Does anyone knows how, in the history (contact, opportunity, ...), I can display the elements (mails, attached files, phone calls, ...) according to their creation date? The problem is that the field has'nt the same name in the various elements. Thanks for your help, Lucas

Hi, I work with Outlook every day but I would know if it's possible to track every mail with an automatic ID. It's very important because I need to archive these mail in excel and I would assign an ID. Thanks Irene

Is there a way to customize the lead source list in Business Contact Manager?

Look at the bottom of the choices in that list and choose <Edit This
List...>. OR, from the main menu, click on Business Contact Manager,
Customize Forms, Edit Lists.

Lon

Kyle,

From your Outlook enable your addins one by one after the BCM add in is
enabled. This worked for me.

From Outlook - Help > About > Disabled Items

I hope this helps

4.Outlook 2003/Business Contact Manager/Getting Things Done Add-in

I am looking for a solution for two business partners who want to use Outlook
as a CRM. I have the GTD add-in and when I installed the BCM, none of my
add-ins would work and Outlook wanted to disable all of them.

I restored my system to before the installation. Is it possible to have
these add-ins and BM?

Is it possible to use Outlook and achieve the same *report* results as you
would get using ACT! - a top-level report of all of the clients and their
status, activities, notes, etc?

5.Add contact to Business Contacts in Business Contact Manager f

If the manual way of doing it that Monica describes does suit your needs,
there is a quick way to add a Business Contact from an e-mail. Especially if
you want to add many at a time, in a few clicks. The method is a little
obscure, but here is how:

1. In your inbox's list of incoming (or any other) mails, right click the
e-mail.
2. Then select "E-mail Auto-link".
3. A dialog box pops up with all of the addresses in the mail.
4. The ones that you currently do not have a Business Contact for have
"unknown" in the column.
5. Select the one(s) you want to make into Business Contacts and click OK
6. The Business Contact has been added, and will have its e-mail autolinked
as well (which can then be turned off again if you don't want it).
7. Now fill in the rest of the Business Contact information as appropriate,
as Full Name and e-mail address are already populated in the Business Contact.

Thanks for your interest in Business Contact Manager for Outlook.
