  • 4. Help - The form required to view this message cannot be displayed
I recently performed a clean install of XP Pro and Outlook 2003 SP2 with BCM SP3. Prior to that I never had a problem with Outlook or BCM. Now when I try to open a contact, I get the following message "The form required to view this message cannot be displayed. Contact your Administrator" When double clicking on an existing contact, I get the following message "The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form instead. The form required to view this message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator" When I click okay, I get another message that says "Array index out of bounds" and then the contact file is displayed. I have cleared the cache but in a day or two, I get the same error. Any suggestions on how to resolve issue without continually clearing cache? Thanks

I have assigned my "accounts" into territories. How do I display all the
accounts for a certain territory?

Hi wtdrm,

See if you can play with view / grouping, and group the view by
territories? That is what I would try first.
Hope that helps,
John

Hi wtdrm,

I have just tried this and it is working for me. What you would like
to do:
1. Go to the Accounts folder
2. Change the current view to [Account List] (or any list view of your
choice)
3. Press the "View" menu > Arrange by > Custom, and click "Group
By..."
4. Uncheck the "Automatically group according to arrangement"
5. (bottom of dialog) Select available fields from: (set to) "User-
defined fields in folder"
6. (top of dialog) Group items by "Territory"
7. Click OK to close both dialogs, and you will find your view grouped
by Territory now.

Let me know if you have further questions,
John

3.Plug-in for Mapping Software (Territory)

Good Afternoon,

We've got contacts in outlook 2003 and have just hired a sales/marketing
person. Is there a 3rd party plug-in for outlook 2003/exchange 2003 that
will allow us to view our customers with a map view? We'd like to see where
they are on a map, something like Google Earth or MSN maps. Get directions
and things like that for sales visit purposes.

For example, if we are going to Los Angelos, on Hollywood Blvd, we'd like to
see how many of our customers are on Hollywood Blvd and call on them. Can a
mapping software plug into outlook for this purpose? Thanks!
