  • 1. Collapsing the groups
I am having a issue in expanding and collapsing groups. I go to the BCM contacts, click on view and then i click on expand/collapse groups and then I try to collapse or expand the BCM contacts in the category view. This results in Not responding state of Outlook. But we can click on any category and click on collapse all or expand all and that works. This happens in Outlook 2007 with BCM 2007

I am a maximizer user and considering switching to BCM. I have close to 10 yrs data including emails. As I understand I should be able to import it to BCM. It would be great to get some feed back from other who have done this.

I'm trying out BCM to see if it can replace ACT. Unfortunately, right now it looks like I can only have one contact associated with an opportunity. This doesn't seem right. What am I missing?

Can BCM be installed on a server (SBS)? What is the number of users allowed? Can the info be kept from being exported?

Do you mean BCM or MSCRM?

The "path" to BCM's database server is based on the host and db name in
the Mail profile, and the instance and tcp port number stored in the
registry.

1.change the cache mode path (.ost file path)

I need to change the path of the .ost file(cache mode), of about 200 users,
that are useing the cache mode, and have exsisting .ost files.

it is not a problem to change the path without moveing the orginal file, the
outlook will generate a new .ost file.

PROBLEM,
the .ost file does not let you change the path of the .ost file when it has
been one time created...

Please try all answers before just saying this is possible, I have been
working on this for a long time, and have writen my own ADM template, it
works, but only on new outlook users, or users that do not have a .ost file.
once the path is set in the outlook cache mode path, I can not change the
path settings...

PLEASE help....

3.Terminal server CRM Outlook Sessions affects CRM desktop outlook

Hi;
CRM 4:
I have a user who uses Outlook CRM client both on her desktop and on her
Terminal Server session (not at the same time).
She has a problem in that the CRM toolbar and tracking becoming disabled on
the desktop when she has been using CRM Outlook via the terminal server.

I have looked at her CRM settings using the Terminal Server CRM client and
it has the "use this client for synchronisation tick box" greyed out but with
a tick in it. I would have thought that this should not be ticked as it is
not the main CRM Outlook tool for the user.

Any help greatly appreciated.
