  • 1. Outlook 2003: display notes
How odd. Clicking on notes button doesn't open notes anymore. Right-clicking on the notes button gives the option of opening in new window. Where do I reset the view?

Hello, We recently had our exchange server crash and we intsalled it on another machine, here is the issue; I have 2 or 3 user that when they open outlook 2003 they get this msg " Exchange is in recovery mode and 3 options of Connect, workoffline, cancel" this is only happening to 3 of my users the others are fine. Has anybody encountered this? Thanking you in advance with any reply.
  • 4. pointer to encrypted email?
How do I set up encrypted email that I can access via outlook, and my friends can receive/send using outlook, hotmail or outlook express? I'd like this to be as automatic as possible because my friend(s) are not very technical. I don't mind doing a one-time setup for them. Or am I asking too much.
  • 5. Are the User Properties visible to recipients outside our company?
Using the AD Users and Computers Application we have configured some user properties, such as physical address and cell phone. Managment doesn't want this information sent to everyone outside our company, but they don't mind if internally these properties are visible to internal recipients. We are pretty sure that non-exchange mail servers do not make the user properties visible to recipients outside our company. Question: Are the user properties provided to recipients outside our company, even if they have Exchange as their mail server? Thanks -Tom

Attachements are what they are. Either zipped them or if
images, use a better compression method. If you are on an
exchange server, your administrator may have resisted the
size of attachments. (Or you IP provider- Usally 5mb is
the limit set)

1.2007 Beta - Resize Attachments

I just noticed in 2007 that the right hand preview pane does not appear
and give you options to send photo's in a variety of sizes. In my
previous version, i was able to add a 4MB photo and resize the photo
within outlook. I do not see this option in 2007. Does anyone know how
to accomplish this wihtout having to open a photo editor for each photo
and then attach :(

2.Resize attachment option no show in outlook 2007

1. I have followed the Help prompts, but still the Resize attachments option
doesn't show in the side bar. I have the option to send attachments as
Regular, or shared, only.
2. Also, the photo inserts into the body of the email, rather than be
located under the address section, as it did in Outlook 2003.

Would greatly appreciate assistance, as no matter which way I phrase it, the
Help option isn't recognising the dilemma
