Client PC running WindowsXP can no longer see or update members of Outlook global distribution lists. This is a NT 4 domain running Exchange 5.5, all with current patches. Problem does not appear to be related to the version of Outlook. Clients running Win2000, Win9x, and Outlook 98 - XP 2003 can see the lists. Only the WinXP Pro clients have the problem.

Dear All, I have a few address that pop up (using Outlook 2003) when I began typing in the To field that I do not want to have. For example it looks like a co-worker may have e- mailed somthing to me from a home address so when I am attempting to send him something that home address pops up first - I don't want it there. I also have a few co- workers who are not working with me but still pop up from the list. These people ARE NOT in my address book so I am not sure how to get rid of these addresses (or how they got there for that matter...) Any help would be greatley appreicated. Stephanie

Additional email account

Postby Tom James » Sun, 30 Jul 2006 09:45:04 GMT

If I add an additional email account to my current profile (POP server), how
do I access it? I do not understand how to switch back and forth between
email accounts in the same profile. Do I have to change the default email
account everytime I want to access the other account?

I understand that I can set up another profile, which is what I do. But why
would anyone set up multiple accounts with the same profile if it is
necessary to change the email account to default, close and reopen Outlook.
Or is there a better way?

It's not clear what you mean by "access" or even what version of Outlook you're using. Please tell us more.

If you add other email accounts all the mail will be downloaded to your
inbox.
If you wish you can create another folder and use rules to move mail from a
specific account to this folder
When you write a new msg you can choose which account should be used to send
the mail.
How you do this depends on OL version

how
why
Outlook.
