I am using a new computer with Outlook 2003. My emails were arranged so I can see in my inbox, delete box, and sent box everything all at once: Date, Sender, Subject and Received. I didn't touch a thing, and the next thing I know outlook reformatted it all. All i have is the option of clicking on each category I want, e.g. by send, by date, by subject, etc. So I never see the full informatio i need. I have researched this online, i am not an idiot, and followed the info microsoft said, to check the fields you want. That did nothing, in fact it eliminated information. How do i get this back to normal without it driving me crazy? I'm in business at home, and I can't spend all day configuring outlook. ANOTHER THING IT DID IS WHEN I TRANSFERRED MY EMAILS FROM THE LAST COMPUTER TO THIS ONE, IT PUT MANY OF THEM IN A LARGE EMAIL FOLDER. That isn't much of a help, because I had them in subfolders by category, and now they are out of the folders I want them in. How do I get this option out? Thanks.

  • 3. Cookies
What are the advantages and disadvatages of deleting cookies in the Internet Explorer-Tools-Internet Options-setting-view files. What are the setting refering to? should these be deleted/ modified? I notice some are due for expiry year 2038 and to my knowledge I have not requested these cookies to be resident on my PC What is going on. A link to greater knowledge would be most welcome regards for any assistance
  • 4. sent items rule
I'm using two email accounts on the same computer, both mailboxes are open in my outlook. When I'm using my default email, emails that I'm sending goes to my sent ite ms folder. The problem is with emails that I'm sending behalf the other account. Instead of going to the other account sent items folder, they goes to mine either. Is there a rule or some other way that can move emails that were sent behalf the other account to it's sent items folder instead of mine ? The configuration is outlook2003+exchange2003 working in exchange mode. Thanks.

Locate the ost-file of that profile and rename it to .old. Then have Outlook
resync again.

1.outlook-outlook synchronization

I am running Outlook 2003 on my work PC (on an exchange server of course) and
on my personal/home PC. I want to synch the contacts between the two Outlook
instances. Is this possible, either with a microsoft product/feature or with
a third party solution? Is this a feature on Outlook 2007?

2.Pocket Outlook synchronization with Exchange

Hi everyone,
Our company develops synchronization between Pocket Outlook and
Exchange. We have problem in next scenario:
There is new meeting request arrived into Inbox. If we open it,
Desktop Outlook automatically creates appointment in Calendar folder.
Now we perform synchronization with our software. Both of items copied
to Pocket Outlook, but there is no linkage between them on Pocket
Outlook. Now if we Accept the meeting request on Pocket Outlook it
creates a new appointment that actually is the same appointment as it
came from Exchange. So we have 2 same appointments and if we
synchronize now again with our software it copies the second
appointment to Desktop Calendar folder. So now we have duplication of
appointments on both sides - Exchange and Pocket Outlook.
We tried to use CdoPr_APPT_OWNER_ID - it helped us partially, now the
Originator of appointment receives Meeting Response and he see in
Appointment that it really accepted by recipient, before we
synchronized wihtout CdoPr_APPT_OWNER_ID and it have sent meeting
response, but Organizer even after got the meeting response have seen
in its Appointment that this appointment still did not accepted by no
one.

Does anyone has idea how to copy the link that exists in Exchange
between Meeting Request and Appointment to Pocket Outlook?

Thanks.

4.asks user credentials when closing outlook/ Synchronization

Hi
My Environment is Exchange 2000 and Outlook 2000. For my Laptop users, who
use the Synchronization feature, I configured "When Online, Synchronize all
folders upon exiting". Synchronization is going well. But most of the times
it asks user credentials (user name, password, domain name) when closing
outlook. Even though I give my correct password also, it pop ups again and
again. If I click on cancel, 5 or 6 times then it goes. Can anybody help me
please
Thanks in advance
