Hi; We are having an intermittent problem with some Outlook 2000 users . When Outlook opens and they click open a message, or try to create a new one, it stay hidden behing the main outllok window - so it looks like it is not open - have to minimize the main Outlook window to see it. Has anyone encountered this problem and how was it resolved? Thank you, Elizabeth Skowronek Gwathmey Siegel Architects, N.Y.
  • 2. Outlook signature double-spacing
One of my outlook signatures double-spaces itself when I try to use it in Outlook 2003. When I go to edit it, it appears fine. I'm trying to figure out how to keep this from happening again.
  • 3. Outlook not sending messages from correct POP3 account
I am a tech support person, supporting several companies from my home. Therefore, I have several pop3 email accounts setup on my computer in Outlook. When I reply to an email, I need to make sure that the correct account shows up in the "From" field. This works for some messages, but for others, the email is sent from the wrong account (making me look real bad :-)). This happens even when it says it's going to be sent from the correct account, if I check the sent items afterward, I'll see that it was sent from the wrong account. This is driving me batty and I need a solution super- quick. Thanks. Melanie
  • 4. Multiple User Signatures in Outlook 2002
I work at a library where we sometimes have multiple users logging onto a single machine. When you choose a signature in Outlook, that person's signature remains as the default no matter who logs on afterward. I did find a script file that addresses this problem, but it's very time consuming to set up for each individual user. The only other options I can think of are to manually choose the signature file when sending an email, or to create a generic signature file for an entire department. I have seen very few posts about this, so I am suprised that it hasn't affected more people. Is this a bug in Outlook 2002? It wasn't an issue in previous versions.
  • 5. Outlook 2003 calendar side-by-side view
I added another users calendar to my view and now it's entries are mixed up into my calendar. When I uncheck viewing the other calendar, the entries don't go away.

Forward them to Outlook Express and use the Combine feature to combine them
all into one picture. And ask your friend to not break apart pictures sent
to you.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, News asked:

4.Attachments arrive embedded in message text

Friends, I often send word documents as file attachments to Outlook Express
6 messages. Recently people are receiving them not as attachments but as
lengthy strings of indecipherable characters within the message text. What
is going on here? How can I get back my attachment functionality? I am
running on an up-to-date WinXP Pro system.
