Was using Outlook in Office XP on Windows XP. Had 2 comcast accounts there. A good hardware guy installed a new drive, and I am transferring files. Now of course, I don't have Outlook, only Outlook Express. If I install Outlook from the CD, will I be able to find old folders and messages? (I don't want to mess anything up.) Thanks.

Everytime I try and double click on a Word/Excel/Power Point etc attachment in Outlook, it brings up a message saying the associated program could not be started. We are using Office 98 Macintosh. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  • 5. Showing email addresses
Is there any way you can send emails where, when you send an email, no one can see the email address of any others you may have sent the email to? Can you format Outlook so that it will only show someone's name and not their address, even if you right click on their name? I know what I am trying to say, I just can't put it into words. I hope you understand what I am asking.

Contacts Address Book in Rules & Alerts

Postby Richard » Sun, 16 Dec 2007 00:31:36 GMT

In making a new rule, when select the "from field" you can click on it,

And a window pops up where you can select a contacts, from different
files

There a drop window bar, that shows address book to choose from.

I have one book for Newsgroups and TWO book "named" contact

One is link to my contact folder, and other one is not, I get a error
message,

That it has been moved or deleted.etc, when I select that one.

WHERE, can one edit this (drop down) menu and removed this outdated

Contact reference.

Depends on your Outlook version. For OL 2002/2003, click Tools>E-mail
Accounts>View or change existing directories or address books>Next. Select
Outlook Address Book, click Change, and delete it there. Stop and restart
Outlook.
