    Is there a way to set Outlook 2003 to automatically empty the Junk Email folder. I figured there would be a setting similar to the way you can set the deleted Items folder to empty on exit. I just have not been able to find it. Anyone have any help or ideas. Thanks, Joe
  • 2. Walmartconnect.com and Outlook 97 PRO
    Hi, Can someone tell me the names of the incoming and outgoing email protocols for WM.CONNECT.COM ?? Sure , I can contact WM. tech people, but..... but either I get no response or a response that does not make sense! I asked if I needed MSOE to use WM, and my response was that only MS could tell me that! DUH? I tried postoffice.wm.connect.com and mailhost.wmconnect.com. Obviously that doesn't do it. Perhaps they are just not compatible???? Thanks XXXX@XXXXX.COM if emailing--delete spam from address.
  • 3. windows 98 and Outlook 2000 connection problem
    I have a user account that has a logon authentication problem with Exchange 2000 using windows 98. I can connect as an administrator and add the users mailbox to outlook but when I try to connect as the user the account is not accepted. The user account does not have a problem connecting using windwows xp. Anyone know what's wrong here? Thanks, John
  • 4. Highlighting Holidays on Month view
    Hi, I've added holidays to Outlook and would like to see them highlighted and coloured on the two months overview that I have on the left of the calendar screen. Appointments are emboldened (although I'd like to make them more visible as well), but I can't see how to apply similar to holidays. Does anyone know how to do it ? I'd be amazed that no-one at MS thought of doing it !! Thanks, Graham
  • 5. Outlook and Unicode..?
    Hi all, I have a Webform from .Net with some text on it. The page is created in UTF-8(Unicode). If I send the page to Outlook some letters are distorted. Outlook cannot distplay the text correct. Outlook is set to Autoselect format. How can I get Outlook to view all letters correct? /Kent J.

you need to edit the registry.
see < http://www.**--****.com/ ;

the full list of extensions that are blocked is:
ade;adp;app;asx;bas;bat;chm;cmd;cpl;crt;csh;exe;fxp;hlp;hta;inf;ins;isp;js;jse;ksh;lnk;mda;mdb;mdt;mdw;mde;mdz;msc;msi;msp;mst;ops;pcd;pif;prf;prg;pst;reg;scf;scr;sct;shb;shs;url;vb;vbe;vbs;wsc;wsf;wsh

I want to turn off the blocking of ALL attachments in Outlook 2003.

Is there a way to do this by editing the registry?

I understand the dangers, but I also have need to exchange EXE and other
blocked filetypes, indeed I have some such attachments in old messages
(from before I upgraded) that I now cannot get to.

Thanks
