  • 4. unable to send to certain contacts
Hello, Last weekend we moved out of Exchange to Google for our emails. Now I'm having problems sending emails to certain contacts that get auto- completed in Outlook's address bar. I'm hoping by hand-typing in the email addresses, the people will receive the mails, but I'm not sure. My other coworker had the same problem and we fixed it by creating a new profile and laboriously copied over all the pst's. Is there some fix for this? thanks, kobiianardo
  • 5. Adding Address Book Error: Cannot Specify Twice (ACT!)
I just got a new computer and installed Outlook 2007 on the new machine. The previous machine also had Outlook 2007 installed. All of the address books I use are on the company server here in the office. I also installed ACT! on the new machine and I am now attempting to add my ACT! address book to Outlook through Tools>Account Settings>Address Books>New... When I go to Other Address Book Types and select ACT! Address Book, the following message comes up: "This account or directory type already exists and cannot be specified twice." The only address book that is displayed is my Outlook address book, so I can't try deleting an ACT! address book. I'm assuming this has something to do with all of the data being server-side?

What is "All Contacts" in the address list

We are using Outlook 2003 on Exchange 2003. When addressing an email, I
choose "Contacts" for my personal addresses. What is "All Contacts" in the
address book list? Mine is empty. However, the person I'm sitting next to
has some various email addresses in his "All Contacts" list as well as his
"Contacts" which he maintains regularly. This person states that he has
emailed these people in the "All Contacts" in the past but not recently.
Thanks so much!

I THINK I've figured it out. I believe these are the people who have not
been migrated to Outlook yet...they are still using Lotus Notes. Could this
be it?

Yes, All Contacts is a list from the Global Address List on your Exchange Server of people with addresses external to Exchange.
