I have specified her start timee as 8.00am and End Time for 5.00 pm in the calendar view. When applied it does change the color of the time frame but stays with 5.00am at the top of the screen. If I exit out of outlook and then back in it still reverts back to showing from 5.00am. Any ideas ?.
  • 4. unknown send items
Outlook task bar shows 'sending messages 1 of 2' but no messages actually created by user. Normal and genuine messages despatched as normal but this message remains and is evident each time Outlook opened. Cannot identify or locate these phantom so called 'messages'. Whether co-incidental but performance of Outlook has deteriorated since this message appeared. Good security installed but scans reveal nothing unusual. Have tried Outlook Spy as detailed in a like post but without success - nothing listed. Any help to remove this irritant appreciated
  • 5. Exchange contacts & windows address book
Hi, I have contacts in Vista address book and separately my contacts held on an exchange server which are linked to my email account. These originally started out as the same list but are now out of sync. Is there an easy way in Vista/Outlook to compare my exchange contacts to the Vista Address book? Or any utilities which would enable me to do this? Thanks Nick

Outlook 2007 is slow in general compared to earlier versions...that fix was
only for the slow typing issue. Hopefully there will be more fixes to come.

1.Anyone else having Outlook 2007 issues?

My biggest problem is that it won't find any new emails. When I press
send/receive, it SLOWLY goes down my list of email accounts and SLOWLY
checks them. Then, it says doesn't find any new emails. WHAT?!?! There
should be a ton of email, but yet the system pretends like I have
none. This is a fresh install of Office 2007 Enterprise Edition (full
version, not the trial) and a fresh PST file as well. Anyone having
any idea what's going on?

2.Delay in Typing, When Using Outlook eMail

Running AMD 3800+ Processor with 2 GB memory.

I keep getting a delay whenever I try to type emails. When I view the task
manager, I get 2-instances of svchost.exe, hp????.exe (my printer). In
general, my System Idle Process is 97-98% and I have 2 GB of memory
installed. The items that are running are normal system items. I have the
bear minimum running in the system tray.

The delay can be a 1/4 of a second or less but it is still annoying when
your fingers go faster and the letters than the letter appear. It causes
lots of misspelled words.

Note: This does not happen all the time. I can't put my finger on the issue
as to when it happens or not. I'm still keeping a close eye .. trying to
figure this out.

Thanks in advance.

3.Anyone here using Outlook 2007?

I tried the beta a while back and it wasn't anything special that I could
see but since it was only Beta, I thought I'd find out if there was
something I was missing out on.

In the beta, I could still only open one profile at a time.
In the beta, if I had a profile with more than one hotmail account it would
still regularly put the hotmail info in the wrong account.
In the beta, it would still open the wrong profile on a regular basis when
closing one - waiting about a minute and then opening a different profile
(it would open the last one open even with Winword, Outlook, rapimgr, wces
all killed in task manager)

If any of these have been improved that would be great news.

Also - anything special about Outlook 2007 connected to an Exchange 2007
server? I heard it is "better" but with no specifics whatsoever - any page
outlining why it is better or what I'd ideally like is some end user here
who can actually tell me what they noticed as far as new features, or
improvements.

Thanks
