MSNBC folder not wanted
by bm5ld2Jlcg » Sat, 20 Feb 2010 05:42:01 GMT
How do I get rid of the articles from MSNBC that keep coming into Microsoft
Outlook under the "unread mail" folder? I also get some microsoft articles
but they are few and far between whereas the MSNBC stuff is hundreds per day.
I tried deleting the folder and that didn't work. It just popped up again
the following day with another 100 articles. Currently I am deleting them
20-30 at a time then permanently deleting them when they get to the delete
folder. What a hassle!!
Any help truly appreciated :(

It's an RSS subscription;
Tools-> Account Settings...-> tab RSS Feed
The feed is coming from Internet Explorer and you have Outlook set to sync
your IE subscriptions with Outlook.

3.Right Click when wanting to Move to Folder not working
I'm a new user, redirected from another forum
Recently I've lost the ability to use the Rt Click on an email to Move to a
Folder within the Inbox on the left side of screen
Also trying to Make New Folder won't make one (from INBOX)
File and New Folder doesn't work either
I can still drag to folders I already have and can rename folders
Tried Re-Install no joy
Have made a New Identity which worked for a couple of days.
Noticed System Restore had Auto Checkpoint during the day which seems to be
the problem
Any suggestions

4.OE wants to compact folders!
Hi,
Since I upgraded from OE to Live Mail on our XP Pro laptop, every time I
boot up a dialogue box opens saying that "Outlook Express wants to compact
folders". Regardless of whether you "OK" or "cancel", it happens again when
you boot up.
Any ideas how to stop this?
Thanks
5.Outlook Do Not Show Send Reveive Diaglog Box shows when not wanted
The O.S. is XP Pro in a SBS 2003 Domain, Outlook 2002 using Pop-3 is the
email client. The customer does not want to see the send\receive diaglog box
as it keeps him from reading emails during the email download process. The
"do not show" check box for disabling the diaglog box is checked. The
diaglog box still pops up and annoys the customer and functionality is
reduced. Is there a registry entry to permanantly disable this pop up?
