  • 4. Hotmail and Outlook, which upgrade?
Dear everyone, I have the following question concerning my hotmail account and outlook and how/what to upgrade. I own Outlook 2003 and have a hotmail account which still can be used with Outlook 2003 to send/receive email from within this program (old account). Now when I sign-up for a new hotmail account I cant get this working anymore within Outlook since Microsoft decided that this isnt prohibited anymore. Now I wonder how to upgrade so that this also works again. Let my first tell what I would like: Using Outlook 2003 on my home computer to access two (maybe three) different hotmail accounts and my calendar, tasks and contacts of both hotmail accounts. (Outlook Live? But I already have Outlook!!). Also on my work pc, which also has Outlook 2003, I would like to have the same for the same hotmail accounts used at home. Now I wonder which way to go/upgrade. I live in the Netherlands and it seems I only can get otmail Pluswhich gives me the option to access hotmail through Outlook, but how about calendar and contacts, also does this apply to only one hotmail account (address), so I need two otmail Plusaccounts. One last question, Since the US seems to have more upgrade alternatives, does it matter to upgrade through the US if for instant Outlook Live would be the way. But first thins first, which upgrade should I go for? Thanks for your time, John

Thanx for replying. You misunderstand. I have emails i need to read in Outlook. The mails contains both a HTML and a plain text version. I need to see if the plain text version looks okay, but I cant get Outlook to show it, it always shows the HTML version. I have different e-mail accounts that are on the same server. When I go to
send an e-mail, I want to choose which account to send it from. Since they
all come out named the same [mail.domain.com, mail domain.com(2),
 XXXX@XXXXX.COM (3)], I can't easily tell which is which.

"webworker" < XXXX@XXXXX.COM >

You can name each e-mail account with a unique name. It's a property of
the e-mail account's definition. Call the account whatever you want.
Change the "Mail Account" field under the "More Settings" option when
editing the properties for an e-mail account.

2.Different email delivery locations for different email accounts?

I am using Outlook to access emails from 2 different accounts and would like
to configure Outlook to deliver the emails from the 2 separate accounts to
separate personal folders.

I've read the online help files and couldn't find a way to do so other that
setting up different profiles. But with separate profiles, I can only check
mail on one account at a time.

Can someone help direct me as to how I can use 1 profile to access both
accounts in different personal folders at the same time?

Thanks

3.multiple email accounts without an exchange email se...

Can I add multiple email accounts to Outlook from aol, roadrunner, hotmail,
etc without having to use an exchange email server?

My problem is that I can view all of the emails from these accounts in my
Outlook interface but when I reply and hit send, the replies go straight to
my Outbox and never leave it. Does this mean I need an exchange email server?
