Went into Autotrade fom internet explorer by putting in address. Now my explorer icon brings up autotrade and I can't get internet explorer. How do I get it back?

Hi There, My computer got fried in a storm 3 weeks ago. We have gotten a new computer and my computer guy was able to restore the .pst files from outlook 2003. I am trying to install the .pst files in outlook 2002 but with no luck. When I get to importing, I get the following message: "the source and destination folders for this operation cannot be the same". I've tried everything. Any suggestions

I started getting an error: "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." last week. I am using Windows XP with all the latest updates. Internet explorer and windows explorer lock up when Internet explorer menu bar is used, either with a mouse or via keyboard shortcut. As soon as a menu item is selected I will get the drop down menu and then everything ceases to function. I can do limited operations via the task manager and can stop the iexplorer and explorer processes. However, I cannot restart them via the taskmanager File/new task. Additionally, shutdown via the Task Manager stops short and won't shut down completely. The only way to get everything back is to hold the on/off button down for the full 5 seconds and that leaves a mess in the temp directories. Help, Help, gotta have help.
