I am getting lots of spam email where the content of the message is an image and below that, random text that makes no sense. As an example: {Nicotine Opium Oxycodone Oxycontin pcp! Rohypnol Salvia Divinorum a san Pedro stp am. Include blood vessels heart rate pressure.} Is there any way to block this with message rules?

  • 3. OUTLOOK 2000 bogs down
Hi, I installed Outlook 2000 a few months ago. I've used Office 2000 SP3 for years, but was using my Palm for contact management until I bought a Blackberry. Anyway, things were find until two weeks ago when Outlook started bogging down the computer, chewing up 80-95% of the CPU anytime it was running. I downloaded a process snooper from Systernals and I think the problem stems from a dll call. omint.dll!IsBadBoundStringPtr+0x33e2 seems to be what is causing the lock-down. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance! Tom

  • 5. Outlook folders not updating
OS: WindowsXP/Windows 2000 EMail: Outlook 2002 Exchange on Small Business Server 2003 This is a business with some 30 PCs. Some of them (but not all!) suffer from a curious problem: The various Outlook folders do not update themselves. When users send a message then it gets stuck in the Outbox until they open the Outbox. When someone sends them a new message then it will not become visible until they click the Inbox. It is as if Outlook is asleep. And no, it is not off-line. I can fix the problem by deleting the users' profile folders, thus forcing new ones to be created. Is anyone aware of a more elegant method?

When I use our company's letterhead in an email, it shifts. Why is that?

Aloha KJ,

What version of Outlook are you using? What do you mean by "shifts"? What
format is the e-mail message you're sending?

I was wondering if it is possible to have that whenever I send a business
email it should open with my letterhead?

you can create stationery and set it as the default stationery to use for
all new mail.

letterhead

Postby c3RlZmFubw » Wed, 13 Jun 2007 00:16:02 GMT

I'd like to know if somebody know how to set (formulate - mail - set up),
in a Microsoft Outlook mail, a letterhead (i.e. a company logo), as in
Outlook Express, where text does not overwrite logo.
I tried to create an imaging file, but I'm not able to set head margin of
the mail. In this case, when I'm typing my text, first lines typed
overwrite my logo.

Is there a way I can import a scanned image of my company letterhead to use
as a template for my outgoing emails?

Yes, it's called Stationary, an easy way to do it, use word to make the
letterhead (insert/picture/from file- choose your scanned image), then save
the document as html, then in tools/options/mail format - stationary picker,
select it.

I must be missing something. I don't see an option for 'stationary picker' in
my Outlook. Mine says 'Stationary & Fonts' and doesn't give me an option to
select a new one. It does in the Signature tab. I have my letterhead saved as
html, but I can't find an option to drop it into my stationary selection.
What am I missing?
