  • 1. How do I remove the red broken lines or "neon highlight" rrom doc.
    I have little broken red lines surrounding every sentence or text in my document. I don't know what I done to cause this "neon effect" of highlighten, but I want to remove it. How do I remove this effect?
  • 2. Word 200 hangs after SP1
    Running Office 2007 on Vista (latest patches, though not Vista SP1 RC). After installing Office 2007 SP1, Word hangs when I try to use it. It runs a few seconds and then hangs I've renamee normal.dotm - no difference I've also ran 'winword.exe /a' - no difference What did help was creating a new user, logging in as that user. Word seems to work fine there. How do I clear out my Word/Office settings on my primary user account? I think that will solve it. Thanks. George
  • 3. Suppressing author field in citation suppresses title as well
    I've been working with Word 2007 to do MLA citations. When I have two or more sources from the same author and choose to supress the author's name in a citation generated by the system, the title entry is also automatically supressed. I have been converting those citations to static text and manually editing them, but this is not optimal. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks.

    I am a Vista Ultimate user. I have been unable to follow website links in Word 2007, that are inserted in documents. I have checked all of my seatings including administrative, and have found no errors. My firewall programs do not show any errors. I have turned off all programs that may restrict Word. including firewalls, these are Norton Internet Security, Windows Firewall, and Webroot SpySweeper, with no success. My computer shows that there are no errors , or spyware currently with my operating system, control panel, or it's software. I have updated to the New Service Pack 1 version Today with no success of resolving this problem. I have even tried to totally uninstall Office 2007 Professional, and then reinstall it with no success. If anybody has a resolution to this problem, please let me know, thanks.

I have one user out of 75 users in a Terminal Server enviroment that looses 
their font selection (only one font is available from the dropdown list). I 
deleted and recreated the account from the terminal server and that fixed the 
problem for awhile - then it came back - makes me think it is a macro virus 
in one of their documents. 

Any ideas?

Nope.That is the symptom of losing the default printer driver. Does the user 
fax from their desktop? Maybe the Fax macro is switching the printer driver 
to the fax driver and not switching it back?

Just preformed a clean install of 10.6 Snow Leopard, and now that I've 
installed office it takes forever to start.  I suspect that this has

3.Disapearing Font 

I am relatively new to FrontPage 2000 and after being published for about a 
year I started to make some updates to the site.  Everything went fine until 
i looked in the browser view and this one word is completely gone.  I 
published it just to see, and it is still gone.  everything else in the 
column shows up fine, I checked the tags and Html and can't find anything 
that would make it disapear.  Any suggestions would ease my exstreme 
frustration at this point!  :)  Thanks!

4.Disable Fonts still showing up in Word 11.2.1 

OS 10.4.3/iMac 65/2G Ram/Office 2004 11.2.1

Hi Folks,

I have 667 fonts loaded but only 82 active managing with Font Book.
Why does Word show all the fonts? It maybe showing the 82 active fonts
but all of the
family (LIgth, Bold, Italic etc. etc. etc. etc.). It's awful. Please
advise.

5.Fonts disappeared in Word v.X 

I have Word v.X in OS 10.3.9.  Some of my fonts have just disappeared
from my font list - Sand, Textile, and I think quite a few others are
gone.  I don't think I've done anything.  I tried restarting the
computer, and even reinstalling Word, but they are still missing.  Any
clues on why or what to do?
