while i'm typing in Microsoft Word 2003, a dialog box pops up saying an error has occurred in C runtime or whatever and its says abnormal program termination. After i press okay in the dialog box, the Word program closes and I lose my work because I didn't get a chance to save. I could keep my work if I constantly (and i mean every minute) save but its rather annoying. how do i fix this problem?

When I try to open any Word Document the hourglass appears and the program does not open. I have gone into Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) which gives me a window with a white background. It tells me that there are not enough resources to run this program. I then have the choice to close down a number of programs running on the computer. I can't see what can be going wrong as I know from Norton System Doctor that the CPU should have enough free resources. In the last week I have deleted a lot of Word documents. I have a new MSOffice Pro 2003. It will unexpectedly lock a Word document. It states that ms document is locked... I didn't lock it. What's more, tech support cannot unlock it. i was told to install my Microsoft Office Language Settings from my Microsoft Word cd in order to have more languages. I just bought a new laptop 2 months ago , and i setup microsoft office word/excel 2003 , it work normal but now i want to open a new document , it does not work and ask me to active again . I created a style in Word to format a bullet item. Later, I deleted the style (right-click on the style, delete style, Yes in confirmation box). However, every time thereafter I created a bullet item, Word re-created the style I had deleted and applied it. The only way to get it to stop was to re-enter everything into a new document that didn't have the style to begin with. I'm using Word 2003 SP1 running under Windows XP Pro SP2. This is badly, badly, badly broken, I've wasted way too much time trying to fix this, and I'm FURIOUS and aggravated beyond belief.

Try the following... 1. Clear out all abandoned temp files: see http://www.**--****.com/ 2. Check that you have the latest graphics and printer drivers by checking with the manufacturers' web sites. Definitely, delete and reinstall the printer - even if you are already using the correct driver. 3. I will be typing in word and get the following error and sometimes a little different but either way I can't type in word for more than 3 to 4 minutes before it does this: Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! 5.Why would word terminate after printing a document ?
I just purchase a new dell computer with microsoft word. After printing a document in word, it will terminate and go back to the desktop ?
