Shift+F5 worked for years on my Word 2003. Now that I'm that program on a Mac with Parallels that doesn't work. This is the single most important command missing in this environment. how can I fix this? thanks "Suzanne S. • 2. Adding only a left side border
I am trying to add a left border to a couple of text within a paragraph. But every single time I select the text and go to select the left border, Word will automatically but a border all around the text for me. If I try to deselect those other border it will deselect everything including the left border. It works fine if I'm working with paragraph, but not selected text within a paragraph. Is there a way to add only a left border to selected text?
  • 3. TYPE IN ONE FIELD, INFO TYPED SHOWS UP IN ANOTHER FIELD
I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO HAVE A FIELD THAT CAN BE TYPED IN AND WHEN I TYPE IN THE FIELD OTHER FIELDS ON MY DOCUMENT UPDATE TO REFLECT THE SAME INFO. I.E. NAME < I TYPE MY NAME HERE > and later.... PAGE 2 I < WHAT I TYPED SHOWS UP HERE > AGREE TO...........
  • 4. Create a simple field
All I want to do is create a template (.dot) that has several different shaded areas/fields as a reminder to fill in the info. I have done this several times in the past, but can't seem to recall how. I know it is rather simple. Ctrl+F9 opens up a dialog box and I"m not sure that this is what I did before, or what type of field I want. Any suggestions? I don't want any brackets or anything in the field--just a plain grey box. -- Paul MS Office Pro 2003 XP Home SP3 Dell Inspiron 1501

3.Hmmm... Keystroke ceases to be

So I finally managed to get back to English (US) as my default, and
reconstruct my Toolbar just the way I want it.

Only now I discover the keystrokes I used to navigate to the top or the
bottom of a document no longer work.

I don't know what they're called on an English physical keyboard (I Use
a FRench Canadian one), but I'm pretty sure the bottom of the document
key is called "End." (It's "Fin"on mine).

It's not a huge deal, but I am in the habit of using those two keys --
and they still work in other apps.

I looked under Customize Keyboard, but couldn't see an obvious command
for Go To Beginning of Document or Go To End of Document.

All input welcome. TIA.
