  • 3. Difference in how Tracked Changes works between Word 2000 & Word .
I am part of a virtual workgroup with staff in two locations. Staff in my location are using Word 2003. Staff at the other location are still using Word 2000 (all of us are eagerly waiting for their upgrade to 2003!) Until then, we are seeing differnces in how Tracked Changes operates between the two versions of Word, causing us some confusion and frustration with the documents on which we collaborate as Technical Writers. I have searched the MS website for a White Paper that speaks to the differences in Tracked Changes to no avail. Has anyone dealt with this, and do you have info that might help us? Thanks, John Fischer, Portland, Oregon

  • 5. Cannot delete file from flash drive
Some music files have copied onto my removable flash drive (I don't know how) and are taking up all the space. When I try to delete the files I get an error message reading: Cannot delete file: cannot read from the source file or disk. I can't drag them anywhere either, so I can't get rid of them that way. They aren't all from cd or downloaded from the internet, there seems to be no obvious common denominator. Any help gratefully received.

3.Hmmm... Keystroke ceases to be

So I finally managed to get back to English (US) as my default, and
reconstruct my Toolbar just the way I want it.

Only now I discover the keystrokes I used to navigate to the top or the
bottom of a document no longer work.

I don't know what they're called on an English physical keyboard (I Use
a FRench Canadian one), but I'm pretty sure the bottom of the document
key is called "End." (It's "Fin"on mine).

It's not a huge deal, but I am in the habit of using those two keys --
and they still work in other apps.

I looked under Customize Keyboard, but couldn't see an obvious command
for Go To Beginning of Document or Go To End of Document.

All input welcome. TIA.
