You need to select something first.

I am having trouble in copying a text from a word document to another word
document. I mark the desired text and press ctrl-c in one document and then

text between a word document and a notepad and then, between the notepad and
the word document, but never between word documents !
The trouble started when I tried to copy from a message in outlook (where I

but the problem remains the same ! I can see the text in the clipboard, but
it simply doesn't get copied to the document or to the mail message ! Could

2.Word- copy, paste & cut icons greyed out

i'm a tech support analyst & a client had a problem with
her copy, paste & cut buttons always being greyed out/
unavailable.

highlighting the text/graphic & using the short cut keys
do work without any problems
e.g. ctrl + c to copy, ctrl + x to cut

her configurations for word and everything
seems to be normal, i've trawled the internet including
microsofts support site for a resolution and havent found
anything remotely close to the source of the problem

i would be extremely grateful if anyone could give me
advise on this problem !!

thanks for your time & effort :)

4.Having text automatically copy from one form field to another

I am new to Word programming and I'm setting up a physical asset form where users enter information about asset number, location, etc. in Word document form fields, i.e. text field, check box, or drop-down. I would like the bottom of the form to be a cut-out section that is pasted on the asset. The cut-out section will have much of the same information as on the main form and I would like the fields in the cut-out section to be filled (copied) automatically from information in the form fields of the main part of the document. That is, when the user enters asset number in the text field on the main part of the document, I would like the asset number to automatically appear in the cut-out section text field at the bottom of the document. Is this possible to accomplish in a simple way

Thanks.

5.when i scroll after copying some text, the copied text is lost

Hi,

I have XP Home

At the time of copying and pasting across text, when i scroll after copying
some text, the copied text is lost. When I say Ctrl +V a screen snapshot gets
pasted instead of original copied text.

This is very annoying.

6. paste leaves an icon, not copied text

7. Word Copy/Paste into Outlook gives icon instead of text

8. Copy text with a reference copies all the bibliography
