  • 2. Screen Wrap
Is there a way to invoke "Screen Wrap" in Office 2007? I used a program called "Peep Show 1.0" which worked in Office 2000, but it doesn't work in this version. (Screen wrap is where you take the cursor off the left side of the screen, and it comes back on the right -- or, you pull the cursor off the bottom and it comes back at the top.) Thanks

Open Password Screen Persists

Postby U2NvdHQgU29ybmJlcmdlcg » Wed, 05 Mar 2008 03:34:02 GMT

Word 2003 - Windows XP Professional.

On some documents I had protected with open and modify passwords now that I
have removed them I can not get rid of Password Box for open password. If I
hit enter or OK I go on into the document. How do I get rid of this Password
Box.

Security - Read Only Recommended is not checked.

2.Recovery Console persists when opening new Word documents

Hello,

I am troubleshooting this behavior as part of my responsibilities as a help
desk engineer. One of our clients is experiencing odd behavior in Word.
Whenever they open a document, the Recovery Console shows a document that has
been saved by another user. When they attempt to open or save the document,
they are unable to since they do not have permissions for that folder. I
have logged onto the server where Word and this file are located and have
attempted to save the file in another location, cleared its read-only and
archive bits, and even tried deleting the file from the folder where it is
stored. None of this has resolved the behavior. Any help that could be
rendered towards a permenant solution to this would be appreciated. Thanks
in advance!

3.how to open password protected word file (forgot password)

How to open protected word file by password?. The file was created on mid on
2003. And i forgot the password.

4.Can open using passwords, can not remove passwords.

Word 2003, Windows XP Professional
I know my Passwords for Opening and Modifying.
I (thought I) removed password protection earlier.
When I attempt to open a file now I must use the known Passwords. Good so
far.
When I go to remove the protection I see no asterisks for "assword to open"
or "Password to modify" and read-only recommended is not checked.

Why must I use "Open" and "Modify" passwords.

I want to create Adobe .pdf files and it's much easier if I remove the word
protection first.

5.Full screen Word window opens half way down the screen

When I open Word in full screen, either by opening Word or when using Word as
Outlook editor, the full screen window opens up about half way down the
screen (monitor). It can not be dragged to the top.
Even using the smaller window size button, which allows me to drag the
window to any postition on the screen, dropping it at the top and the
clicking the full screen button, the full window droppes to the half way down
the screen point.
The only way to get as close to a full screen window is to use the smaller
screen button and then drag the sides and bottoms to almost fit the screen.
What is wrong? How can I fix this problem so that when I use the full screen
view button in the upper right corner (middle of the three buttons), the
window actually fills the entire screen?
Regards,
Tor-Eddie
