I am trying to just do this by cutting and pasting and Excel is reformating into different columns, etc. Isn't their an easier way to do this?
  • 2. Word document printing/view problem

  • 3. How do I correct a table of contents with hyperlinks in msword
I am working on an existing work manual. The table of contents is in total disarray (page numbers incorrect, Chapters titles missing, need to add titles etc..) the entire table of contents is hyperlinked, so it is difficult when making changes, because when I click to edit content it takes me to the text in the document. Basically I need to re-create the entire TOC and keep the hyperlinks. Can someone please help?

Thank you all so much for your help! I am going to try this tomorrow. What a wonderful and helpful group this is. I had been beating my brains out trying to figure this out on my own. How long have you been using the trial version? I understand that it goes
into a reduced funtionality mode when the trial period has been exceeded.

Please respond to the Newsgroup for the benefit of others who may be
interested. Questions sent directly to me will only be answered on a paid
consulting basis.

Hope this helps,

When I try a normal install, setup.exe says "The specified program requires
a newer version of windows," even though I have Windows 2000 SP4, which is
OK according to the spec. I got around it for the initial install by
locating and invoking PRO11N.MSI, but now, every time I want to add or
change a component, I hit this message. It seems to stumble through, but I'd
like to know why my Windows 2000 installation is fooling the installer. I
tried it on my MCSE "training" partition, with Windows 2000 SP4 evaluation
installed and it ran fine. What's different? Any ideas?
