1.Getting another trial after current trial is done
If I reorder a Professional Office 2003 in the mail, will I be able to use it as a full product again after I have already had a trial before?
2.Office 2003 Trial CD bogusly asks for newer version of windows
When I try a normal install, setup.exe says "The specified program requires a newer version of windows," even though I have Windows 2000 SP4, which is OK according to the spec. I got around it for the initial install by locating and invoking PRO11N.MSI, but now, every time I want to add or change a component, I hit this message. It seems to stumble through, but I'd like to know why my Windows 2000 installation is fooling the installer. I tried it on my MCSE "training" partition, with Windows 2000 SP4 evaluation installed and it ran fine. What's different? Any ideas? -- Jim "Be right back... Godot"
