At the bottom of the drop down menu will be an arrow. Click on the arrow to reveal more options under the file menu. To prevent word from only showing the most recently used menu items on dropdowns, go to View>Toolbars>Customize, go to the Options tab, and uncheck the Menus Show..... box. -- Jim Hull Technical Writer

1.print dialog box shows landscape but it prints in portrait
Having a problem in Word and Powerpoint when I change the orientation on the print dialog box it does not take affect it will print in the layout that is set in Word. If I change the orientation in Word then it will print. I have tried multiple pcs and I get the same results they are all running Windows XP SP2. Has anyone come accross this problem?
2.print orientation is set to landscape but prints in portrait
I converted a PDF file to a Word document. When I try to print, I set the orientation to landscape and it prints in portrait. Why does this happen and how can I change it.
3.Multiple copies & Landscape problems when printing in Word
In Word XP (2002), when I select Print from the menu and change the Qty to anything but 1, it shows up as the number, but when I hit enter to print, I only get a single copy. The same happens when I switch to Landscape. It appears that the change was made, but the document is actually printed in portrait. We have a small network at work. A dedicated computer serves as the server plus four stations. The server plus two stations have Windows 2000 Professional & Office XP- another is Windows 98 and another is ME - they both have different versions of Office.. When this first began, the 3 computers that are the same, developed this problem. If we needed to print multiple copies or landscape, the other two computers were used. We then replaced the ME computer which now has Windows 2000 Professional and Office XP. It now has the same printing problems that the other 3 have. We can still do any variations of printing on the remaining one (Windows 98). In other Office programs (i.e. Excel & Access), these problems are not experienced on any computer - it works fine. We have reinstalled Office, print drivers, and made sure we have all updates for everything available. It did not solve the problem. HELP!
4.Word 2000 printing landscape pages - orientation in final document
I have a document with both portrait and landscape pages. When I print it, the header of the landscape pages are on the right hand side of the page (as seen once the complete document is removed from printer tray and held in a portrait fashion). Is it possible to change this orientation so that the header is on the left of the landscape pages in the complete document? The document looks fine in print preview. I hope I have explained my problem adequately. Thanks for your help.
5.MS Word landscape - Portrait mix - w2000 Print driver
I have a problem with printing a Word 2000 document which has both landscape and portrait. The document pages start in portrait, and switche to landscape. For some reason, Word draws the first landscape page as landscape, and the subsequent pages as portait. I have watched the DrvDocumentPropertySheets function and the passed in DevMode, and can see Word switch the orientation to portrait. Anybody suggestions? Anybody? thanks Rollin I am using Windows 2000.
