I'm trying to create a fax template but have problmes with it. 1. I have designed a fax template (1st page) with form fill in fields. The 1st page of the template contains company name logo, address, etc. in the header, 2. MS Word should already be able to do that.. when opening a .wks file, use the 'file type' selection box to specify.. -- Mike Hall MS-MVP Windows Shell/User

A .wks file might be a Works spreadsheet file or a Lotus 123 spreadsheet file, neither of which Word can open.

Works wordprocessor files have the wps extension. To open wps files you need the converter for the version of Works that created them. Your right, my mistake. It was a wps extension. I have word 2002. It will not convert automatically. I searched your web site site, but couldn't find anything. Is the converter some type of add in? Thanks for the help
