Hello, A custom toolbar that contains all of my company's default styles is openedeach time I open a company template (also custom created) in Word. Is there a way for me to access this toolbar in other Word documents that are not created from these custom templates? I've read and tried all the discussed solutions and still get irritating warnings each time I open Word in my newly installed upgrade from Office '97 to Office '03. I have set security to medium and checked to enable all macros. My trouble begins with a security warning stating that a startup file, pdfwriter97.dot contains macros. Then I can enable macros, disable macros or get more info. If I enable macros, I get a dialog box that says to install the create pdf writer software. I click OK and I'm back to the security warning. Then I click disable macros, and I can create my Word document. However, if I just click disable macros, I get a Microsoft Visual Basic dialog box telling me to refer to online help on how to enable macros, which, if I click "yes" sends me back to the security warning. Help! Thanks, John

I'm sure it used to be possible to do this - but maybe Word and Adobe versions have conspired to make this no longer possible.

Is it possible to automatically jump to a certain location in a document when it is opened? I assigned a bookmark to the spot I'd like to go to, then recorded a macro with the Go To function that automatically takes you there. If I could get that macro to automatically run everytime the document is opened, then I'd be set. Thoughts?

Word 2003: Am unable to add usable/clickable mail recipient(for review, and
as attachment) to File send to menu. Mine is in the background and cannot be
accessed. Have been to Tools-customize-commands-file; and have dragged and
dropped Mail Recipient ; reply with Changes and send for review over to the
File menu. It was entered but sits in the backgnd and is inaccessible. Same
program on another computer (XP Professional) works fine. Have checked
mapi32.dll in Windows Sys file, everything OK......need help please.....

If you open Internet Explorer and go to Tools->Internet Options and click on
the Programs tab, is Microsoft Outlook selected in the E-mail drop-down box?

Thanks...this works for Outlook, so I guess I will have to use it. My email
program choice is Eudora, and it is working fine on two other computers. It
was working on this laptop until I loaded word2003 vs word2000. Thanks
again...

Did you ever get an answer to this? My WORD is behaving the same way. I can
add the toolbar command, but it remains "grayed" out.

1.Signatures on Messages sent through Word using File/Send To/Mail Recipient

I have signatures set up on my Outlook account, but am inconsistently
getting signatures on the messages I send. This morning, I copied a
signature to the end of my document in Outlook because nothing was there,
and when I reviewed the document after it was sent, it included 2
signatures, instead of one.

What should I check?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

4.Office XP will not allow me to use file-send to-mail recipient

Help,
I am in either Word or Excell and if I select File/send
to/mail recipient it brings up my Outlook 2002 with the
document set as an attachment. I then type in an email
address and when I hit the send button nothing happens.
It just sits there as if the send tab does not work.
Any idea's would help.
Thank you,
Brian C.

5.File, Send To, Mail Recipient...

This question pertains to Microsoft Word and OWA.

The user types up a document and selects File, Send To, Mail Recipient.

The problem starts here.

The user does not have Outlook and doesn't have Outlook Express configured
as they don't use it for anything. The only access this specific workstation
has to email is OWA.

How can this user utilize the File, Send To, Mail Recipient feature of their
Office products if they don't have a local email client installed?

Thanx.
