Word 2003 does not appear to support the insertion of ZSoft (.PCX) files. I do have a work-around by importing them into Visio 2002 and re-exporting them in another format. But, where can I get the necessary graphic filter?

Hi Craig, Unfortunately MS dropped the PCX import filter in Office 2003. If you upgraded over an earlier version or have the earlier version filter (PCXIMP32.FLT) available it should work in Word 2003. ======== Word 2003 does not appear to support the insertion of ZSoft (.PCX) files. 1.Read monochrome ZSoft PCX files
Hello, I am struggling to find either program source code or a comprehensive article for the purposes of reading monochrome PCX files. I've happened across a large number of examples, though all deal primarily with 8-bit RLE, colour images. Is anyone aware of documentation concerning the 1-bit, 1-plane PCX file format? Thank you for your time, Andy.
