Word 2003 does not appear to support the insertion of ZSoft (.PCX) files. I do have a work-around by importing them into Visio 2002 and re-exporting them in another format. But, where can I get the necessary graphic filter?

Hi Phil, Does this happen in a new blank document and choose Insert=>Symbol? I'm creating something in MS Word 2000 and for some reason it started unselecting drawing objects I have selected. To select one item I have to click on it about three times. Selecting multiple objects has become impossible. I can no longer group anything. I thought at first it was my mouse so I installed a new one and then tried the original one that came with the computer. Same thing. My virus scan is up to date and shows nothing when I scan the document. This is happening in different documents as well so it's not just a corrupt document. I also tried "Detect and Repair" with no luck. Any ideas out there? - 3. Grouping Objects in a Document

Using Word XP; AFTER PLACING A WATERMARK (text - picture unknown)in a document, the viewing gets blacked out, randomly, in spots. This will also show itself in the preview close-up. This happened about two weeks ago, after getting an update/download.

Hi Craig, Unfortunately MS dropped the PCX import filter in Office 2003. If you upgraded over an earlier version or have the earlier version filter (PCXIMP32.FLT) available it should work in Word 2003. ======== Word 2003 does not appear to support the insertion of ZSoft (.PCX) files.
