Error Code 0x8007000E when trying to use Clip Art
by mikedee » Thu, 04 Dec 2003 13:24:22 GMT
I am using Office XP w/SP2 and anytime I trya and access
the clipart I recieve an "Error Code 0x8007000E" Out of
memory or storage space. As far as I can tell I have
plenty of memory since the machine has 1Gb of ram and
more than enough free harddrive space.
Any help would be available!

1.Clip Art Error code: 0x8007000E
We have the SBS 2000 Server OS (SP4) running on a Domain
Controller and Terminal Server with 25 local XP clients
and 2 remote XP clients connected through the TS. We have
Word 2002 installed on the TS.
Whenever the non-Administrator users login to the TS and
try to insert Clip Art into Word, they get the following
error:
"Not enough memory. Try closing other applications or
restart the computer.
Not enough storage is available to complete this
operation. Error Code 0x8007000E"
I found KB article 820070 which directly addresses this
problem and I followed the recommended workaround by
downloading these two files and installing them onto the
TS. However, after these were installed the problem is
still not fixed. What else can I do to fix this?
I am able to insert Clip Art when I login to the TS with
the Administrator account, but then after I added one of
the regular users to the Administrator group this still
didn't enable them to insert clip art.
What can I do to fix this?

3.Clip gallery user database failed to open when trying to insert clip art
Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
I have a teacher that gets the message "Clip gallery user database failed to open" every time she tries to insert clip art in Word or PowerPoint. I have already tried to trash the preferences (and empty the trash) for the clip gallery in the user's library and I have tried repairing her permissions. If logged in as another user, the clip gallery works fine.
This is driving me CRAZY and I really need to move on to other support issues. Please help!
