Is there a way I can have Word XP auto number boxes in a flowchart. I would like to have the flowchart scaleable so I can add new boxes or delete boxes and have the numbers in the rest of the boxes renumbered. My typical flowchart has 32+ boxes per page and we have to typically delete a box here or there and add one here or there and everything needs to be numbered. VERY time consuming. Thanks

I have some javascript which, when placed on a web page, dynamically displays a small amount of HTML and an image. It's dynamic in that whenever the page is loaded, if the data changed, the displayed info changes as well. Pretty trivial on the web. But how can I achieve the same thing in my word doc so that whenever I open the doc, it pulls in the latest data? I do not want to have to view the word doc in web view in order to see the image and I don't want to save this doc as HTML. Just want it to work automatically as a word doc. Would I insert an image, a hyperlink, an object or do I need to use some vb code? Thanks in advance. - 2. adding text to logo

I received a Word document with a single graphic pasted on Page 1. I was unable to view the graphic. Both the sender and I are running Windows ME. I am running Office XP with Word 2002. I have reviewed the Tools/Options/View area and the double- checked that the Picture placeholders is UNCHECKED and the Drawings is CHECKED. However, I was able to view the graphic with ease from my laptop which is running Word '97 on Windows '95 operating system. Could any of the Spyware, Adware programs that I recently loaded be interfering with this? I was also unable to view an "e-vite" electronic party invitation on the same system. When I past clip art into a word document, I am unable to rotate or flip the object. When I click on the the draw button, the "key selections" are pale gray and I unable to use them? How can I make "rotate" available? - 5. How do I retrieve text that disappeared from text boxes?

Hi Suzanne, It would be painstaking, but in this circumstance, I like to make sure I have a "page full" of paragraph marks before I get started. Then I can anchor each text box to its own paragraph, and LOCK it. If I need to change the numbering order, I can move the paragraph... 3.Auto paragraph number - then remove auto
I like to use auto paragraph number,which is really outlinning. Someone I send documents to cannot or will not use it and has asked me not to use it. However, not using it is a pain How can I use the auto paragraph number function and then when I am through, remove the auto paragraph but leave the paragraph numbers in the document as if they were hard coded Thanks

Does anyone know how to set an image's Auto Brightness, Auto Contrast and Auto Levels... or what the concepts are to accomplish this assuming I am using an image component that can set brightness and contrast to a specific value? 5.Auto Calc Number X Axis Labels
I wrote a simple 2D graph program to use in a picturebox. I would like to automatically calculate the number of X Axis labels to appear based on the number of points plotted. For example if there are 500 data points there needs to be enough space between the labels so the labels are not so close together that each label doesn't over write each other, but if there are only 10 points, the labels would adjust accordingly with possibly more space between them. Naturally the labels that are placed need to correlate to the graph points labeled. I can manually force a "fudge" factor by hard coding how many labels but I want to do this without having to enter in either the number of labels nor the spacing between. Any help appreciated.
