  • 3. Placing drawing object or pictures moves other pictures
In my class we can have a 2 page notecard for tests. What I do is scan pictures out of my book, crop them in MS Picture Manager, minimize them, and then copy them into Word. The problem is that I have a bunch of images set up where I want them - when I add another image it pushes other images off the pages or it gets them all out of whack. How do I keep the pictures in one spot once they are set? Thanks

I am trying to apply the "shading" fill effect to a background on a document but instead of coming up with one effect for the whole document the effect repeats itself over and over in a pattern creating a rippled or bumpy effect depending on the fill effect used.

I retired from the United States Marine Corps and was wondering for the last
30 years I find it sad that Microsoft has not dedicated a team to create
logos for our military, the clip art you have is verey limited and of a
commerical nature, cartoons and not all the military is represented. I would
like to see some serious templates made in appreciation for the service
persons that are serving our country, and fighting over in Iraq and various
countrys. It would be great if a watermark page was created for the various
branch of service or a stationary letter head with the various ranks of the
military, I have created my own, in which I have the Marine Globe and anchor
facing each other and my name; address; city and state in between the globe
and anchors. I would also like to see a page made with the United States
Marine Corps Flag in the back ground as a watermark, or the Marine Corps
Silent Drill Team as a back ground or the Uniteds States Air Force Jets or
the Navys' Blue Angels. I think they deserve some special recognition and
this would be a way of say "Thanks to all of our service persons."

If you find an old copy of CorelDraw clipart (versions 5, 6, 7 and 8) you will
find many crests representing various service arms. There are a lot of military
web sites around that can direct you.
