Text box reverse

  • 1. Watermarks in Sections
Hello all, I can place a watermark in a document. Can you place a watermark -- even different watermarks -- in sections of a document? Thanks for any assistance you can give.
  • 2. How do I add a watermark and center it under the document?
I am trying to add a watermark to a doc file and figured out that you have to add it to a header or footnote which I have done. Once I do that, I can't move it to the center of the document and make it transparent.

  • 4. Word 2003 can't read charts from MS Oragnisation in Word 2000?
Word 2000 has a charting facility, MS Organisation. Word 2003 unfortunately doesn't read oragnisation charts prepeared this way, which is strange as the facility existed in Word 2000.
  • 5. ClipArt issue in Word
Word 2003 - no SP's Scenario: Principal creates weekly newsletter from previous weeks edition, he changes text-bodies and clipart. He then submits to admin staff for editing. Admin staff edit and return to Principal > no issues at this point. The principal then makes final changes and returns to admin staff for finishing and printing. The second time the document (2-3 pages) is sent to the admin staff, the document, when opened will scroll to the first clip art insert and then hangs for 60+secs before catching up to the scroll point. CPU usage hits 80%+ when this occurs. I have found that by opening a newsletter from 6-8 weeks earlier, the scrolling works ok, and then you reopen the current weeks edition and the clip art/scrolling issue has been resolved.... Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cameron

Using Window XP with Word 2003. I have a text box with dark brown fill and
white letters. The print preview shows it correctly, but printing it to two
separate printers shows only the brown background of the text box. Why will
the letters ot show in the print?

I don't know but have you tried not coloring the text box and putting a
filled rectangle behind it. I know it works with WordArt fonts so perhaps
that is your way around the problem (don't forget to group the 2 objects to
lock them together

Of course, it can, if the text is reversed out of a brown background, as
described. It usually helps to use a large, clear font (boldface), but if
the text isn't "printing" at all, then there is more than "dot gain" (ink
spread) involved here.
