I mail merge my addresses happily from excel to Word. I set up the document for Avery L7163 labels with no problems. I set up the fields with no problems. I merge it all with no problems. It looks fine on the screen. I do a trial printing them onto plain paper with no problems, but as soon as I print on to the actual label sheets, it all slips up, so is out of kilter with the label edges. It does this regardless of how I try to compensate for this in the layout. It is driving me insane. In desperation I then printed the labels with no problems at all using another computer with Word97 installed. Is this a known glitch? is there a remedy?

The avery 5567 is not listed in the avery portion of labels available in the mail merge program. I can download the avery wizard, but can't figure out how to use it and the mail merge program!! - 4. Updated Information

Hello Microsoft: MS Word 2007 crashes often when importing addresses from Outlook 2007. Also when I try to set Outlook 2007 as the default source of addresses, MS Word forgets the setting between sessions. Help.

Hello Caroline, The answer depends on a number of things that you haven't mentioned, so it's difficult for us to help yet. Do you have a Word template yet for the size of labels you possess? Is this just a one-off, or will you be wanting to do it with different names later? If not a one-off, do you know anything about mailmerge? I have a word doc with 112 names in a list, hard returns separating each name. I need to print each name on an address label. I've tried to figure out how (shouldn't this be a simple process!?) with no luck. Can someone help or point me to some good instructions? Thanks in advance! Caroline Otto
