Is there a MVP guide somewhere that explains how I can move my settings and autocorrect, etc, features from 2003 to 2007 the quickest way. I want 2007 to have what I have built up for 2003 , thanks, Joe

  • 3. Abnormal program termination
A couple of weeks ago, I started encountering a problem with my WORD 2002 program. For no apparent reason it oftens shuts down, giving me the following message screen: ________________________________________________________________ Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Program: C\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EXE Abnormal program termination _________________________________________________________________ The program then shuts down and I lose EVERYTHING that I have been working on. Can someone tell me what is going on and how to prevent the problem? Thanks in advance for any help.
  • 4. Envelopes: How to add "PERSONAL" under the Delaivery Address
I like to add sometimes, I would say quite often, the word "P E R S O N A L" near the bottom of an envelope under the Delivery address, with BOLD letter, spacing, etc. See all the steps that it requires once that I am in the Envelopes and Labels dialog: 1. CAPS LOCKS 2. Writing of the Word 3. Go to the Fonts dialog to then format to a bold type, underline, etc. Then I print it. Then I write another letter and I might still have to CAP Lock again, go to Fonts, etc, if I want to write in the next envelope again the same thing. I might have copied the P E R S O N A L word from the previous envelope, but if I lost it during the second letter writing (I.e., if I copied and pasted other things while writing the letter, a very likely occurrence), then I will have to retype again in the next envelope the word P E R S O N A L again and begin the whole process again. When I do that in many envelopes, the whole thing becomes too much tedious. My question: Has the Word Program not provide an easier way to write these optional words in the envelope without having to go thru all these steps every time? (Maybe an envepe style #1 that do not have the word P E R S O N A L, and evelope style #2 that has the word, etc, that you can recall at will), or any other method? Thanks in advance.

Forms and linking text Boxes

Postby TWljaGVsZQ » Tue, 17 Nov 2009 08:20:01 GMT

Good morning,

I am not new to word or Basic forms for that matter how ever I am unable to
work out one facet of forms that I wish to use.

I have been sent a form in word 2003 which is 8 pages long. I have copied
these eight pages and am able to edit my copy. 30 - 40 % of each page has the
same information boxes, Name, address etc etc. I would like to know how I can
link all the "address" text boxes on each page so that when I write info in
the first address box it will also appear in the other address boxes

1.create a text link using a text box for forms

I have a form that may, at times, need to be continued on a sepearate page.
I insert a text box from the control toolbox and would like to do a text
link, where, if there is not enough room to type everything, instead of
wrecking the format of the form by to many line breaks, it will continue on
another page. I can do it with a regulare text box, but then when I protect
the form, you cannot get into it to type what you need to type, whereas with
the control box text box, you can, but I can't get it to do a text link. Can
anyone out there help please.

Thanks

2.Link dropdown form field to a text box

Hi

Is there any way of having the contents of a text box change depending
on the selected option in a dropdown box?

I want to have "father", "mother", "parents" in the dropdown. The
chosen option would then amend a text box later in the document to say
"he", "she" or "their".

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I'm developing a simple form. The form has a text box in it. I find I cannot

What am I doing wrong ?
