  • 1. How to change Office 2007 settings for all users on Terminal Serve
    L.s, I'm using Office 2007 on Terminal Server 2007 with 13 users. I'm looking for a way to change the settings for all the users. I found out how to make a MSP file with OCT and that this can be used for chancing settings after installation. But how do i run this file, and will it make changes for all users on the TS? A don't want to make the changes with GPO for Office 2007, because a want defaults, which can be changed by the users. And i'am to lazy to make the changes for each user/program/option by hand. Many thanks

    If I'm right that you have to tell MS that you're moving Student Office 03 Out-of old to a new computer For It To Work: Is it via the new install process (some question block?) or via telephone (which phone #?) - Any help appreciated.

    Hi, i wanted to see if there is a way to disable on the server print confirmations being sent to the client, either by a server setting or a gpo, does anyone know of a way to do that? Also, i noticed that when the printserver went down due to a hardware failure all of the connected clients became very slow and the ms office apps would also be really slow or crash, has anyone seen this before? thanks Scott
  • 5. import old calandar data to new calendar
    I updated my Outlook from 2002 to 2003. I would like to take my 2002 calendar appointments to my new 2003 version... but here's the trick... In the updated new version (2003) I made two different calendars and I would like to import the old information in to only one of the new calendars. Not both. I do not want my old to mix with my other calendar.

Postby cmVuZQ » Mon, 05 Nov 2007 02:09:02 GMT

I am running Office 2003 with Vista Ultimate as the o/s. There are several
updates that download (especially for Outlook) but they will not install I
have had to idethem so the pc does not continually try (without success)
to install them again and again

I have now downloaded SP3 for Office 2003 and tried to install it but got
the message "Update cannot be applied" - any ideas how to fix this please?

Usually you would open MS Update, review the history & click on the icon
next to a failed update for an explanation & maybe cure

Hello,

When trying to update Office 2003, I get the error: A

I checked the original Office 2003 CD I used to install

3.Cannot apply mst of Office 2003 on 2003 Terminal Server

I'm installing the above on a application enabled 2003 Server. It is a
customized MST, but the Server does not apply the mst settings.

First I ran change user \install then;

I used the following command line to install from the run box:
\\york\software\office\setuppro.exe
TRANSFORMS=\\york\software\office\custom.mst /QB

I can successfully run the same command on a XP box and will install the
customized MST settings.

Appreciate help

4.Office Update broken after Office 2003 SP1 applied

I applied Office 2003 SP1 and it installed without any problems. However, now whenever I go to the online Office Update it tells me that it can't complete the scan because of some problem. Office Update was working fine just before installing SP1, nothing else changed. Windows Update still works properly, so I don't think this is a Windows Installer problem.
