Upgrading from Pro Trial To Small Business

Postby ZG9udGZlbmNlbWVpbjE5Nzk » Sun, 08 Jul 2007 09:08:01 GMT

I would like to know if its possible to convert my MS 2007 Business Pro Trial
to a Small Business version without having to uninstall and loose my work.
Would also like to know if I can use my purchased version on my business
partners computer (separate IP address) without having to pay additional
costs or for another Suite package. We only have the two computers.
TIA

I wouldn't recommend it. And just because you uninstall Office doesn't mean
you lose your work.

And no, you cannot install your software on someone else's computer. I can't
even install my copy on my husband's computer so business partner is
definitely out.

1.BCM is missing in both trial versions of Office Pro and Small Business 2007

I have downloaded the trial versions of both suites from the Microsoft
Office Online two days ago to try BCM. However BCM was missing in both
suites. Are these suites updated so that I can find BCM inside? If not when
can I expect the updated suites?

Thanks.

2.Office Small Business 2007 w/Office Pro 2007 Trial - Invalid key

I purchased this product more than a year ago and now I've gotten around to
installing it onto my system. The problem is, to my surprise, is that the key
is invalid!

I'm a bit distressed as I can not install a product I paid for and now I'm
left wondering what I must do in order to get this product working?

It isn't installed in any other system and although I purchased it with my
system it wasn't installed at the time of purchase (hence why more than a
year later I'm now installing it).

Any help in resolving this matter is very much appreciated.

3.Converting Office 2007 Pro Trial to Office 2007 Small Business

My Office 2007 Professional Trial just expired yesterday. I purchased the
Office 2007 Small Business upgrade through the online store. When I tried to
convert my trial to the "real" version, my product key wouldn't work. (I
expected it to work for everything except Access, which is not included in
the Small Business version.)

I am, as we speak, downloading the Small Business version from the Microsoft
store; but do I really need to go through an uninstall/reinstall? Can't I
convert to another version of MS Office without reinstalling? I'm worried
about losing my emails & etc. from Outlook.

Help!

4.Upgrading to Office Pro 2007 or Office Small Business 2007

I recently purchased a new pc with Vista. Have existing pc with Windows XP
and Office Small Business 2003. I want to be able to upgrade both PC's to
either Office Small Business 2007 or Office Pro 2007 but have been told that
new pc must have full purchase version and not upgrade. Any ideas on the
cheapest alternative. Second pc will be used by kids for school and wife( who
is a teacher and brings tons of work home).
