Hello, Can someone please help me? I'm trying to add a hotmail.com account. We have dsl. I don't know what to choose in the server type. I'm thinking POP3, but I dont' know if this fits dsl. Second, if I do choose POP3, I don't know what I should insert for the INCOMING AND OUTGOING SERVER's for the hotmail.com account. I tried hotmail.com, but the test was not successful. Thank you Steve

My langbar.chm is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled. I have tried repairing Office 2003, uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2003, and removing speach and readding it but I still just get a "page cannot be displayed" error when I attempt to open the help file. Any suggestions.

  • 4. Lost CD and Key - Need Help
I recently had a computer crash and had to wipe the hard drive, the sad part is I cannot find my CD or the case with the product key on it. I've been using the Office 2003 Student & Teacher Edition to date. After I did the complete reinstall of my OS with the recovery CD my computer came with, I realized I would need the CD key for Office. Couldn't find it so I emailed tech support and all I kept getting told was to find the CD Key - obviously I didn't need his help if I had it. My purpose in writing to him was to see if he could verify my information that I provided during registration and activation in order to obtain a new key. I am now at the point where I cannot use Office because it asks me to convert to a full version now - so here I am...desperately looking for some answers. I would think it would be fairly easy to verify registration information and thus provide me a new key. Any suggestions other than buying ANOTHER full version of Office? I feel like the guy who I dealt with was deliberately not helpful just so that I'd have to go buy another. Please help!
  • 5. Office 2007 Repair
When I try to run Office Install to repair the suite I get a message saying it can not start because a needed file is missing or corrupted. Of course it never bothers to say what file. I tried using the initial install disk and get the exact same message. Any body got any help ideas?

You can read it with a "decryption" program but you can't replace it.
Don't worry about it. Just use the "new" one for future installs.

2.Office Shortcut Bar Removal from Office 2003 (Office XP Pro)

Why is the Office Shortcut Bar removed from Office 2003!?!?! I "supposedly
upgraded" my office computer at work from Office 2002 to Office 2003 (Office
XP Pro) to come to find out that the "newest" version had removed such a
versatile and highly used utility. Was this an oversight? Are there plans
to add it back in? This is not an improvement in my opinion!!!

My Suggestion: Add the Office Shortcut Bar back in to Office 2003 (Office XP
Pro) ASAP!

3.Upgrade from Office 2000 Pro to Office 2007 Pro

Hi,

First, I'm running XP SP2 with plenty of horsepower and disk space to handle
MSO 2007 Pro. I'm currently running MS Office 200 Pro.

Question: Before I bite the bullet and purchase Office 2007 Pro, I notice
that it comes with Outlook 2007 + BCM. Will I be able to install just the
Outlook 2007 portion? I really don't have any need for BCM.

Thanks in advance for all help.
